My first visit was memorable and positive, with a regular customer to give advice. The focus of the menu is a dozen salads with more variations and customer choices. Most regular sizes are just $5.60; a "big" is $6.85. We had an "Edgar Allen Poe" - baby greens, apples, pears, walnuts plus blue cheese and choice of dressings. Also had a "Crazy Ivan" - again baby greens, but with tiny beets, pumpkin seeds, and goat cheese + plenty of blue cheese dressing on the side. Added SW Grilled Chicken for $2.25 more. Salad size was very generous; the added meat was a bit limited in quantity but fresh and tasty. Nutrition values are easily listed for those intetested and most earn a "Smart Meal" seal of approval from the state of Colorado. Drinks included a novel local product, "Bing" carbonated energy drink from real cherry juice with 120 mg of caffine for $2.50. Definately a hit when you want a salad. Paninis ($7.50) and salad wraps ($5.60) also available. There are now 11 locations in the Denver & Front Range area of Colorado only (as of May 2012)

Great location for a refreshing break while visiting one of several museums in the area -- the Denver Art Museum, Colorado History Museum, Byers-Evans House or Clyfford Stills Museum. The Pallettes Restaurant at the DAM is more upscale, but this place has a terrific selection of oversized sandwiches and salads. And don't miss one of the best mochas in town at the coffee bar.

Selections of soup, salad, sandwiches. Comparable in price to similar places. Staff is quick to buss tables and very friendly. Acoustics are a tad loud. Very convenient to a day spend at the Denver Art Museum.

Mad Greens Inspired Eats operates a branch on Martin Plaza directly across from the entrance to the Denver Art Museum's Hamilton Building and therefore also adjacent to the Denver Public Library and to the new HistoryColorado Museum (Colorado Historical Society) which opens April 28, 2012. It is an extremely convenient place to get a bite (soups, creative salads and paninis) when visiting the museum. Eat in or take out. Reasonable prices. Fast. Excellent for wholesome, quickly prepared food.

I eat at Mad Greens during a recent trip to Denver. I really enjoyed the big salads that they offer and the unique ingredients available. Good deal for the money.
