Description: The Berkshire, located in Denver, CO on Stapleton's main drag, serves fresh and inventive dishes centered around pork and bacon. In a location heavily populated with chains, this family-owned restaurant serves unique meals from scratch in a casual and trendy environment. Some popular meals include our bacon plate and pork tenderloin which is served with house made bacon jam and roasted cauliflower. While the dishes represent American cuisine-heavy on the pig-The Berkshire does serve lighter fare as well as vegetarian dishes. In addition to serving up heaping portions of pig, we also take pride in our creative cocktails. We have a fully stocked bar and draft beers, insuring you will find the perfect drink to accompany your porky dish. The Berkshire hosts weekly drink specials and happy hours, giving you a reason to celebrate any day of the week! The Berkshire is a great place for parties and corporate events. Our "Pig Pen" is a full private dining room that seats up to 40 guests in a warm and inviting atmosphere. "The Pigs Stye", a semi-private area, is also available for booking and seats up to 18 guests, or has standing room for 25 guests. Whether you are hosting an event, or just wanting to celebrate with a group of friends because it's Wednesday and you're craving bacon, stop by The Berkshire and let us show you just how much we love pig!

Looking for a new brunch spot and found the Berkshire on Google Places.  Nice bustling place, nice everything.  Service was attentive and helpful (was very familiar with the menu and made useful suggestions).  The chicken-fried-bacon appetizer looked interesting, won't do that again - greasy, but then what would you expect.  Food was good, hot, tasty and a reasonable value.  Nice find.  We'll surely go again.

Unfortunately, I only discovered this place for lunch on my last day. I had an amazing BLT and a side of perfectly fried pickles. The has a list of things I am looking forward to trying and the wine selection is top notch. It was pretty quiet the day I went in but I hope that is not indicative of their regular business. This place needs to stick around.

I always appreciate a local place that offers quality food (especially with some organic offerings) and has an authentic atmosphere. Berkshire has decent food and a solid ambiance that feels comfortable while at the same time feeling trendy. Great area too -- feels very Coloradan, especially when it's cold and there's snow outside.

Despite making a reservation we had to wait for our table although it was not very busy when we arrived. I had the last available belly pork - a speciality. It was virtually all fat with a disgusting sweet taste. The accompanying vegetbles were overcooked and unpleasantly sweetened. The order took 50 minutes to arrive. The restaurant is very gloomy relying on candlelight. It has no soft furnishing and generally uncomfortable. We went on ladies night - noisy. Service was unprofessional and very slow.

Offers about 2 dozen wines by the glass and has an extensive menu. The pork tenderloin I had was good at best. Staff was friendly, had some Tuesday night live music also. Place seemed to thin out at 7PM when happy hour ended.
