Owner description: This fancy antique-filled Victorian house was the home of Molly Brown, a famous survivor of the Titanic.

This was an interesting tour of Margaret Brown's home that gave a sense of those silver barons of Colorado and the new wealth that allowed them to travel and get involved in political and cultural activities. I would have preferred a bit more background information on the family and the home's architect -- it was a little too informal and "breezy" for me when I wanted more indepth, but it was better than I anticipated from some of the other reviews.

Great tour! Tons of history and bits of unusual information is shared. We have been there several times and we always learn something new because you get a different tour guide every time you go. Browse their unique gift shop in back.

Very informative tour, great tour guide, and awesome house! I want to scream out that this lady's name is not Molly, but Margaret...our tour guide informed us that she is now known as Molly because of the Broadway show of the same name's creator thought that Margaret did not flow as well. Good grief, who knew! Loved the explanation of the rooms and old photographs that accompanied them to show a before and after.

The tour costs $8 for adults and there is a carriage house in the back of the home where you can purchase tour tickets, buy souvenirs, and watch a short movie on her life.

Favorite part of the tour: learning that Mrs. brown was a world traveler, like myself!

An hour tour including the gift shop with lots of neat stuff. This is a nicely restored home with great tour guides that expose the other side of Molly (they call her Margaret there) Brown. It is as much a tour of her as it is of her home. If you like historical tours, I would not miss it.

It's a good example of Denver's Gilded Past. The house is a little dark, but I suppose it's to be expected. The museum in the old Carriage House is worth a shopping tour. It's out back and visitors usually line up there and then tour the house. This is subject to change.
