“Worth the trip!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012

An interesting tour and definitely worth the $8. Tour guides are volunteers so some are better than others. Tours leave every 30 minutes and they have a cute little gift shop you can visit. It was an interesting history and although a lot of pieces are not original to the home there were actual photos of the home dating from approx 1910 where they recreated the home based on the detailed photographs. Tour groups are kept relatively small so that there is time to ask questions. Apparently the house also has private functions and tea parties on the third floor some of which are open to the public, presumably with a fee. You may want to check out their website for an upcoming events. The house is also on the Denver Trek app so if you do not have time to take the tour you can still hear most of the interesting story and history for free through the app.

“Wonderful tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

This was a wonderful tour. It is the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, so the timing couldn't have been better. Touring the house with a guide dressed in period attire was well worth the price.

“A real slice of history in this small gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2012

I have certainly been in larger houses than this but it still is a great site. The informative guides as you pass through the rooms will give you a great deal of information about Mrs. Brown and if you take the Titanic tour the real facts about the fateful voyage. The truth is quite different than in The Unsinkable Molly Brown film, including the fact that she never called herself Molly Brown!

“Interesting House for an even more interesting woman”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

I have to admit I was one of those people who really knew very little about Margaret "Molly" Brown prior to visiting her home. Probably really only knew of her due to the Titanic movie. However, Margaret Brown's history and the efforts she made within Colorado and something most definitely to be remember and celebrated. She made a huge difference in the the lives of not only the children, miners, and women of her day by fighting for education, safe working conditions, the vote; but these are all matters which we today many times take for granted.

The house itself has an interesting history and the restoration has taken many years, but it is a well preserved piece of the Victorian era.

A must see and at $8 very affordable.
