Built sometime in the fifties when architecture was not at it's most awesome... but a must see in terms of functional use of a vast amount of space.
Music rooms, childrens reading rooms, magazine & newspaper rooms... you get the point.
I wish we had a library like this near me.
It is in the same complex (next door) to the Denver Art Museum so its a don't miss opportunity. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They will even offer to call a cab for you & smile about it!
The NYC Public Library it is not, but it is charming in it's own 50's kind of way.
