“Spaceous room, free food midweek”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

I was impressed by the size of the room, the twin TVs, the fridge, microwave, cooker and coffee maker and by the table/desk where I was able to work without any discomfort. The free Wi-Fi in the room was fast and wonderful when it worked - but it seemed to be all or nothing - when too many people tried to log in, an IP address was not forthcoming.

The bed was comfortable and I felt at home here. Breakfast is complementary and very adequate though without the choice available in some places I have stayed. Midweek after 17:30 there is free food and beer/wine for guests for a couple of hours but this should not be relied on. The lifts (elevators) seem fairly slow and beep at each floor as if they are talking to each other. The location was great for me as I was working in the area, but really there is little in the area except other hotels and some restaurants so without transport, not a place for a holiday. Be warned, if coming from overseas and you want the free shuttle bus, you need to ring the hotel from the airport and arrange collection - and you need change for the phone!

I did not get a chance to use the spa or pool.

Dear George0903,
Thank you for your review. I am happy you enjoyed your stay as well as the roomy suite. Your comments will be passed on to our team. Regarding your note on the internet, you will be happy to know we are upgrading both our access points as well as adding more bandwidth in the coming weeks. I think this should alleviate the problems you experienced.
Thank you again for your review. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

I stayed at the property for several days to attend a group meeting. First, the property itself is very well maintained and the rooms/suites were spacious and well furnished. At the group rate of $ 99 per night which includes a decent breakfast and complimentary drinks and light food at night, it is a hard value to beat. One note on the happy hour: It's pretty obvious that some locals just walk into the hotel for the free drinks and eats. The workout room has three treadmills and and one stationary bike and some weights. It's ok, but if you're looking for anything more, you'll be disappointed. There is only one set of bathrooms for the meeting rooms and entire first floor. That's inadequate. A few of us had to go back to our rooms to use a bathroom. The staff is made up of younger adults who are pleasant but who also like to banter back and forth with one another and tend to forget they were hired to service the guests. It's not unpleasant, but it is noticeable. Denver is supposed to be a tech center. It's inexcusable to have such a shoddy and slow WIFI system for your guests. Our group ( only 7 people) had several, incredibly frustrating episodes trying to connect with the WIFI--and when we did, it was excruciatingly slow. There's no excuse for that-- especially if you hold yourself out to as a facility to host group meetings. So, I guess I gave the hotel four stars because of the rooms and overall pricing value.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the west and you'll get an excellent view of the Rocky Mountains. I did have a...

Dear lfc8568,
Thank you so very much for taking a moment to write a review. They are valuable to us as well as other travelers. You comments about the room, dinner and staff are extremely helpful. I also wanted to mention the internet. The hotel industry as a whole, is having a hard time keeping up with the multiplying demands for internet. We are currently in the process of 2 important upgrades: wireless access point better suited to handle multiple guests with multiple devices as well as additional bandwidth. We should have both of these upgrades installed within the next few weeks. We appreciate your comments and feedback and are certain these upgrades will make a big impact on your connectivity.
Thank you again for you review.

This Staybridge Suites is a great place to stay before flying out of Denver. Everything is attractive and in good, new-looking condition. The suites provide ample space for sleeping and socializing. Beds, bedding, pillows, towels and toiletries are all fine. Roomy closets contain many hangers and a laundry basket. Kitchenette is well equipped. Stayed in a two-bedroom suite recently and both bedrooms were large and well located to give two couples privacy, and the living room/kitchen area was very nice and comfortable for gathering four people.
Public areas are wonderful too - a large Great Room, large laundry room, well equipped fitness center. We left before breakfast and there were free wrapped muffins and granola bars available to take. Free shuttle to the airport was reliable and efficient.
Overall, an excellent stay for a night or an extended period.
(When there, we always eat at DiCicco's restaurant nearby.)

We stay here every time we come to Denver. I don't know where to begin... The airport shuttle is a lifesaver! The front desk staff is always so friendly. It is so nice to be able to have food and drinks in a kitchen! The rooms are ample in size and very comfy! The guys and I can kick back in the living room of our suite and watch a game just like at home. We LOVE this place. Won't stay anywhere else!

We were disappointed by a number of things at this hotel. First, the room was not appealing. The carpet was dingy, and the trash from the previous guest had not been emptied. Second, the room was noisy. We heard heavy traffic noise, including sirens, until after midnight. Also the room heater was noisy and cycled on and off all night. Third, the alarm clock in our room was inoperable and our requested wakeup call from the front desk did not occur. Luckily we had slept so poorly that we didn't need to be wakened in time to catch our early morning flight. When I complained about our missing wakeup call, the clerk found that our request had been registered but not entered into the automated system. The clerk apologized for the error and for the inoperable clock which, the clerk said was a common problem. We chose this hotel because of its high rating by others, but our experience was not satisfactory.

It was a pleasure coming into our room. Being a family of 6 we love the space. We had 2 rooms, small kitchen and a living room. The way to stay like home. Extremely clean and comfortable.
Excellent hotel. Service at the front desk is always available and helpful.
Even though there is no restaurant in the hotel, they have a small pantry with snacks and soups to put water in.
I will definitely come back

If you travel as much as I do, you find the places that make you feel welcomed are the places you don't mind coming back to. During a three week trip to Denver (over Thanksgiving) it was nice to stay at the Staybrdge. I had stayed here before but only for 3-4 days at a time. This trip I really got to use all the kitchen items, even the dishwasher. Nice to have a full sized coffee pot with Wolfgang Puck's blend, evening mixers for all travellers and a good breakfast selection. And finding a hand written note with a bag of M&M's taped to it, was a welcome treat (Thanks to Amber). The rooms have plenty of space to stretch out, they are twice as big as any "suite" motel I've ever stayed in. I stayed there the first time because of the rate they gave our company, now I stay there because I like the layout, free laundry and the great staff!!!

Room Tip: Based on the time of year, winter - south side, plenty of sun and a great view of the Rocky Mountian...
