“Always as comfortable as home.”
Reviewed September 13, 2010

This was our first time to stay while Randy and Becky Sue were performing the Inn Keeper role. They were great, made us feel right at home just like Gary and Wini have always done. Becky is also a keeper, always helpful.

We usually stay in room 2 or 3 but this year we stayed in room 1. A very nice room although perhaps a little noisier and light due to the extra windows that are at the front of the building. Still I slept wonderfully and comfortable.

We usually participate in the annual Cruise above the Clouds car show and this is an easy walk to the show and downtown Cripple Creek.

Breakfast as always was outstanding.

We've never stayed in a place where we felt like we never left home. Becky Sue and Randy and their staff were wonderful at making sure everything was taken care of, down to the smallest detail. We spent 4 days and my wife couldn't leave without shedding some tears. We left feeling fully refreshed and ready to plan our next trip to Carr Manor.
This place will always be at the top of our list! Jim and Debby

This was our first time in a bed and breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were excellent in size and comfort. The welcome experience was great - the proprietors were warm, friendly and inviting. The facility is beautiful - basically an old high school circa early 1900's renovated into the B&B. Only 14 rooms so it's very spacious and roomy. They have all the ammenities you need including a workout area. The breakfast was the best ever (and I travel every week). Food was unique, fresh and wonderfully prepared and personally served. I couldn't ask for more. I won't think about staying anywhere else from now on.

We had the most amazing time over four days, the breakfast is way over the top and beyond our expectations, the staff was family almost, the rooms were wonderful and soooo comfy, and the hosts are the most remarkable couple we have had the pleasure of meeting.

If you are interested in traveling back in time (circa 1900), then you have just gotta stay at this beautifully restored high school. The bed and breakfast are to die for. Inn Keepers, Host and Hostesses are right there to serve your every need. The Bed and Breakfast Manor is a safe and security place and the warmth surrounds you with thoughts of staying with family. Becky, Becky Sue and Randy made us feel like family. Always a smile, joke or good conversation going on at all times. You couldn't ask for a better combination. Prices are good, Stay is Comfortable and Memories are Everlasting with Carr Manor. Highly Recommeded by Daniel and Georgia Robinson of Ft Worth Texas.

This B&B is absolutely top rate. This refurbished high school hidden in the mountains of Colorado radiates warm elegance and charm in every room. Great attention is paid to decor and details from the original chalkboards in the rooms to the chocolates left on the nightstand. The innkeepers, Randy and Becky, and their hospitality made me feel like an old friend. We were treated with Randy's amazing singing talent in the evening which was matched by Becky's amazing cooking talent in the morning. It's a little off the beaten path, but worth going out of the way for if you're in that part of the state. The town is very quaint and has several casinos and even some resident donkeys that roam the streets.

We absolutely loved Carr Manor. The Innkeepers were excellent & great services provided. Great breakfasts. No fast foods served. Room & bath always cleaned daily. A great place to getaway to rest & not be bothered. Fresh coffee and cookies any time of day or night.
