How do you begin to rate an experience that was PERFECT ? The two nights at Cripple Creek staying at the Carr Manor was to be a tag on to our Denver, CO family reunion. It was anything but a tag on.Our stay at the Carr Manor was like visiting wonderful family, innkeepers Becky Sue and Randy. The room was terrific, the museum hotel was a treat , the breakfast was unbelieveable and the hosts offered true southern/mtn. hospitality. This being said by two folks from the Carolinas. To sum it up... it just does not get any better than this !!!
Thanks!
Sue and Jim

If you are looking for a place to stay in Cripple Creek and are not into the Casino scene, then Carr Manor B&B is the place for you, We stayed one night at one of the local casino's in town, but our "non-smoking" room/floor was SO smokey, we had to go else-where. We were needing a 6 night stay in cripple creek while visiting our daughter performing at the Butte Opera Playhouse in town (great entertainment btw) and toured the Carr Manor B&B on our 2nd day of trip. It was SO beautiful and the hosts SO friendly, we decided to switch to the B&B,, which is actually the old school house newly renovated and elegantly decorated. It was, clean, quite, elegant, excellent breakfasts, SMOKE FREE, and the Inn Keepers Becky and Randy are the nicest people you will ever meet. They went out of their way to meet our every need, gave us great advise on things to see and do. We HIGHLY recommend the Carr Manor B&B and would definitely stay here again.

One of the most outstanding B&B's we have ever been in. Words just don't do it justice. It's a home away from home with a staff that makes it that much more enjoyable. Don't miss it.

Carr Monor in Cripple Creek is a treasure. We spent three nights in the finest bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the common areas are comfortable and welcoming. The staff is amazing. You will not want to miss Becky Sue's delectible breakfasts. Cinnamon rolls are a standard each morning. Be sure to have Randy sing for you. What an amazing man! The Inn is spotless thanks to Becky and her staff. We feel we have made wonderful new friends and will definetley return. Carr Manor is a destination in and off its self. Don't miss the opportunity to spend a few nights relaxing in this wonderful Inn.

We had planned to stay overnight on our way to Wyoming from Texas. Stayed two night and hated leaving.

Carr Manor is in a class by itself. The rooms are beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and furnished with enough history and period peices to keep you entertained without venturing out. The management is delightful. Very warm and friendly, professional, and knowledgable. They were never hovering but were always accessible when needed. And they are great cooks!

This is a totally "marvelous" place to stay. The rooms are gorgeous. The beds are so comfortable and roomy. We stayed in the Govenor Carr Suite and had an absolutely fabulous view of the fireworks on th 4th of July from the windows. You cannot get a better show than that at any price. Becky and Randy are great! Absolutely delicious breakfast with chocolate wine sauce on the fruit cup! My personal favorite. If you want to stay in a "home away from home" atmosphere, this is the place. Thank you Gary and Wini for making this such a wonderful place to stay!

As owners of a tour company, we travel extensively and would rank this property in the top five of any place we've stayed throughout our travels domestically and internationally. Carr Manor combines the very best of a boutique hotel and a bed and breakfast. It is exquisite. You have the privacy of a boutique hotel for accommodations, but the service, atmosphere and breakfast are of the highest quality you could find in any bed & breakfast. Becky and Randy Boyd are the epitome of what innkeepers should be! They are knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and accommodating, but not smothering. The breakfast was outstanding. As far as the property itself, every detail was considered in the restoration and furnishings of the Old High School. It is spacious and luxurious and you are not in cramped rooms so common in Victorian style bed & breakfasts. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job. The artwork throughout the building is interesting, electic, beautiful and fun. And Randy is a great singer and he and Becky can sometimes be coerced into entertaining. Guests are encouraged to join in, and this creates lots of fun and camaraderie.
