“It's not bad, but not great”
Reviewed November 5, 2009

We were there this past Wednesday, it was senior day at Womack's. If you are a senior citizen and have a players card, meals are half price for breakfast and lunch. We both ordered the daily special which was meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn and roll, regular price $7.95. The serving size of meatloaf was pretty big. Taste was good, it wasn't the best I ever had and certainly not the worst.
Restaurant was crowded and they did a lot of take out orders too. All in all a decent meal at a good price.

“When hunger overpowers common sense”
Reviewed September 22, 2009

Cripple Creek has never been known for its culinary experiences. But nowt tha there is a $100 limit with gaming tables we remain optomistic that this will improve. However, it won't come at the door step to the Mid City Grill. After the long, but beatiful drive up, we were overly hungry and stopped at the 1st "restaurant" we saw. The food was awful, and the prices, we came to find out, were no bargain in Cripple Creek. The Chicken wrap was made with canned chicken, at least I think it was chicken, the house salad made with wilted iceberg lettuce dead tomatoes and shriveled cucumbe slices. The cole slaw was straight from Safeway and the fries were not fried. I guess you could say we got what we deserved.
