Great Trip, so convient. Helpful and friendly. Not the old Crested Butte, we were welcomed and all of the restaurants had great food and a much better service time.

We travel frequently, and were very impressed with the facility and service of The Lodge at Mountaineer Square. On crowded days, it was wonderful to be able to walk back to our room for lunch, then quickly return to the slopes.

We especially enjoyed the spacious hot tub after skiing. Also important, our kitchen had the equipment to prepare real meals. The laundry machine and dish washer were life savers.

Finally, from the desk clerk who checked us in at midnight (John) to the the cleaning staff and finally the desk clerk who checked us out early in the morning (Heather), we were treated as though we were their most important guests.

The lodging, wedding planning services (Isobel Calligan, the best!), & sfaff were outstanding! They truly go out of their way to make the experience a memorable one!!!! Can't wait to return for the wedding!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Lodge, we got an upgrade to a beautiful one bedroom which was fab- had two balconies with great views. The kids loved playin in the snow on the patios which was nice cuz the parents wanted to stay warm. The staff was so friendly and going the wknd of Thanksgiving was a treat b/c there were no crowds. Have been going to CB for years but have found our new spot to stay. Thank you Lodge at Mountaineer square. The pool was a great treat too!!

The staff at The Lodge at Mountaineer Square made us feel like family, yet they weren't all in-your-face and bothersome like other places I've been where they try too hard. Nice! The bed in our room wasn't the most comfortable I've been in, but the rooms were large with plenty-o-room to spread out. In town there are fanTAStic places to eat, AND there are good choices right there in the resort courtyard, too.

Only two negative things to say... First, watch your step in the bathtub! Woo! That thing was slippery. Second, if you're picky about your coffee, bring your own. Decent coffee makers, but their coffee was not good at all.

One last thing about the room, if you're a light sleeper, request a high a room as possible to get away from the street noise. It's not bad unless you're a very light sleeper, so be aware.

We stumbled across a great great trail near Crested Butte, too. Wow! Aspen grove forests, pines, streams, deer, beautiful large grouse with little chicks... nice. West Elk trail. Leads to Beaver Pond, which has trout jumping out of the water mouthing "Catch me if you can" with their little lips. Tell 'em I said hello!

The Lodge is an excellent place to stay in Mt. Crested Butte. We were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Miller by the front desk everytime we passed. The housekeeper catered to our needs as well. Such an excellent property to stay at. Totally worth the money we spent.
