“Great breakfast place”
Reviewed March 21, 2012

Instead of getting a normal breakfast, try one of their specialty plates with a southwestern flavor. It's a small restaurant that stays busy, especially on the weekends so figure out the best time to go. Everything was good and the price was great.

“Good place to rest for a little while”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

We stopped here for our daily mid-morning break for the entire week. The room is large and we were always able to get a table. Cups of water are readily available. Hot chocolate is fabulous! We generally brought our own snacks so I can't comment on that except to say that there appeared to be a wide variety of snacks and lunch items. Easy in/out and the Paradise Lift is right there.

Reviewed November 28, 2011

Very busy, even in late September. Meals were good and the patrons were very all appeared very satisfied. Staff was helpful with suggestions of places to visit and even recommended a restaurant for dinner. So good we went back the next day for lunch and another dinner recommendation.

“Not so great”
Reviewed August 8, 2011

We were late for lunch and I'm sure everyone was tired, but the service was slow and inattentive and the french fries seemed two hours old. We won't go back. Plus there were lots of flies.

“An OK Place for Lunch”
Reviewed July 26, 2011

After walking through town after our lunch, we thought we should have walked some more before choosing someplace to eat. The food was ok, but other places just looked more interesting.

We had to wait about half an hour for our four top. There are only 6 or 7 tables inside, more seating on the deck. The outside area has umbrellas, but no one sat there during the rain.

Service was fine, food came quickly after ordering, although 2 of our plates had the sides switched. The cheesesteak was good, not chewy at all. Lots of onions. However, the cheesesteaks didn't come with lettuce/tomato. And sandwiches comes with only chips. Fries/slaw/sweet potato fries are all upcharged, from what already seemed like a lot - $9 something for the cheesesteak. Chicken strips were large, and couldn't be finished.

So, overall, an ok experience. I'd probably try somewhere else next time.
