We tried out this restaurant two weeks ago during a visit to Crested Butte. The summer crowds had not arrived yet, so there weren't very many people in the restaurant. Sometimes this can lead to food that is not very fresh. This was not the case on our visit. Everything we ate from the salad to the dessert was fantastic. We had the cheese fondue as an appetizer and although the flavor is strong, it seems to suit the fondue. We loved the apples and broccoli as well as the bread with it. We had chicken and steak for our entrees and shared the chocolate mousse for dessert. The decaf coffee was fresh and delicious also. I can't speak highly enough of this restaurant and if we do purchase property in the area, we will definately be back for dinner.

We visited Crested Butte earlier this month and found this gem tucked away in a little shopping center near the movie theater. We stayed at The RubyB&B and ate so much for breakfast that we never ate lunch. We were ready to take advantage of Le Bosquet's twilght dinner. What a bargain! and delicious! The Prk with merlot cherry sauce was amamzing as well as the Ruby Trout with cream of fennel sauce. The only flaw is the wine glasses. They need the large oversized glasses to allow for swirling.
We liked it so much, we ate there twice in 6 days!

My husband and I visited Le Bosquet on Friday evening, January 20, 2006. You would think that a French restaurant would perhaps have crusty French bread but we started off with under baked dinner rolls... light tan with bland uncooked dough inside. When we asked for French bread the waitress immediately became defensive which is a sign that she has been asked that question numerous times before. The escargot was over cooked... crispy snails sitting on top of a mushroom cap in wine, butter and garlic. Most cheese fondues are supposed to be made with a subtle semi-dry white wine but the wine in Le Bosquet's Cheese Fondue was way too overpowering. We ordered the 10 oz Pepper Steak medium but it came out as medium rare and it was a poor quality meat with more than 25% fat and gristle. The only thing good about the meal was the overpriced bottle of wine. In the end we paid over $103 for a bad dining experience.
