“Service great, food disappointing”
Reviewed September 26, 2013 via mobile

We were greeted by a friendly matre'd and had excellent service. The Fava bean bruschetta was a novelty--the way it is served in a jar--and tasty as well, although the tapenade was a bit oily. From there it went downhill. Salad was made with fresh ingredients but it was so cold it had no flavor. The shrimp with sun-dried tomato sauce wa gritty and bland. Maybe it was an off night.

“We returned twice in one week”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant so much that we dines there twice in out one week visit to Crested Butte. The Italian fare is light and creative. It was a refreshing change from the "big portion beef" of so many Colorado restaurants. I had spinach salad the first time and artichoke flatbread the second. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious.

The only negative is that the tables are quite close together, but I guess that's standard for the small restaurants squeezed into Elk Ave.

“Staff wants to please.”
Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

We went for dinner and the atmosphere was nice, but the staff was a little over the top. We had 3 different people come to the table and we felt like we didn't have a minute to ourselves. Food was good, there are better places to eat in town.

“Very enjoyable time”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

The staff was so friendly as we entered, and we had a nice table by the window to people-watch.
We enjoyed wine, a beautiful salad, and delicious flatbread. My husband had meatballs. All
Ingredients are fresh, and presented beautifully. Our flour less orange-almond cake was so
yummy! I would love to return.

“Great find in small town of Crested Butte”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

This restaurant appears very small when you find it from the sidewalk but when you walk in it is surprising. It is two-storied with great decor. The hostess that greeted us was very friendly as was the wait staff. The food was delicious. Portions are average but par for a restaurant of this type. I would return.
