Description: The all-new Bacchanale is a modest Italian restaurant from the team that launched django’s restaurant at the base of Mt. Crested Butte in 2008. Our fresh and light menu will re-introduce you to simple flavors, colorful salads, artisan flatbreads and handmade specialties. Our comfortable atmosphere will entice you to come every day. Join us nightly for dinner from 5-10pm, and pick your favorite spot: at the bar, the community tables, along the banquette benches, in our private dining rooms, or on the balcony overlooking it all. During the summer, bistro seating on Elk Avenue let's you watch the action, enjoy the sunshine and surf the web, all while enjoying a Campari & soda. At 7am every morning, we're up again to serve you organic coffee, fresh house-made pastries, and specialty breakfast items.

“Italian food in Crested Butte”
Reviewed March 22, 2012

Our family ate at Bacchanale Italian restaurant and enjoyed ourselves. It has a nice atmosphere, and it was very clean. We had good service from the waitress.

We had the artichoke dip for an appetizer, which was delicious! It was served with breaded bow-tie pasta. Yum! By far, everyone's favorite! The house salad dressing, a Parmesan garlic vinagarette, was unique and delicious as well. Everyone ordered pasta with a different sauce. The pasta was good, but nothing special. A few in our group ordered meatballs, which were yummy! Complimentary bread, ciabatta, I believe, was given with the dinner. Very good/fresh bread!

The Bacchanale had $8 meal specials, which were considered 1/2 orders. They were plenty to eat after an appetizer and dinner salads. The kids ordered off the Kids' Menu. Their meals came with a salad. The salads were very fresh. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would return to Bacchanale's Italian Restsurant.

“Great breakfast”
Reviewed February 9, 2012

We ate breakfast here on the day of the Alley Loop. The pastries were very good, as were the hot chocolates. Breakfast here is not mentioned much from what I could see on TripAdvisor, but I'd certainly eat here again.

“Great service and excellent food, great for big parties!”
Reviewed December 28, 2011

I got married in Crested Butte last summer. After many wonderful meals in their great atmosphere, we decided to have our rehearsal dinner there. I still think of how wonderful the service and food was. My guests were so happy. They even made a special menu for us. I love their mozzarella sticks, baked clams, and desserts. That person who said 'why bother?' must not know what good food and service is! We just ate their again this trip and their servers were so friendly!

“Nice Italian fare !!!”
Reviewed December 27, 2011

I had liguine fra divolo. The sauce tasted fresh and it was spicy! Anothe in the group had Veal piccatta. Absolutely fantastic. Lasagna was good, not fantastic. And the Minestorone was very, very good. We all had salad. The greens were excellent !! You have to try the house dressing: Garlic/Parmesan !!! One in the group had the Caesar and it, too, was excellent. We had a liter of the house Red ($18) It was very, very good. Too many restaurants son't have decent inexpensive wine anymore and this was the exception.

“why bother????”
Reviewed December 21, 2011

we've been visiting Cresteed Butte for 15 years. first visit to Bacchanale was okay. then they moved. we went again about 5 years ago.... awful. decided to try again this year becase of all of the great reviews. Oh my goodness...... lousy service....lousy food .... crummy atmosphere. Third time is the charm to totally mark it off our list. very disappointing to go into a placed that touts homemade pasta and specialities and find such a disappointing menu. dry, tasteless,.....olive garden can do better!
