“Excellent food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2012

The restaurant's decor was impeccable and suited to the mountain setting. We were greeted by a friendly host and our server was cheerful and anxious to answer any question or suggest items that she felt were especially good that day. The food did not disappoint us either. A good presentation and some nice touches added by an obviously talented chief. A great experience, we will return.

“Had a drink at the ice bar”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2012

Fun place on the mountain and kind of a neat concept. The bar itself is all made of ice. I can see it being particularly popular on sunny days in the spring. It was sunny for us but a little cold out. They do have warm drinks too but you are sitting outside. I would recommend people stopping in. It is just up the mountain from the base. Off the main lifts, you just follow the signs as you get close to the base.

“The Ice Bar”

There is nothing quite like enjoying a drink while sitting at a slabe of ice, and enjoying some of the best scenery in the world.

“Food was better than typical ski food, a little overpriced.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2011

Food was good, but $75 for lunch was a little more than we expected. Service was excellent and soup du jour was very good. But compared to other places that charge at this price range, Uhlie's was in the middle of the range.

“Best of the best - a must visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2011

Uley's is an experience. And one of the best sort. To get to Uley's, you take a sleigh ride up the mountain. It's a beautiful and romantic experience, and worth the price of admission on its own. Eating at Uley's is icing on the cake, and what icing it is! When you arrive at Uley's you are immediately warmed by the log-cabin ambience and the cozy fire burning by the entrance. After warming ourselves for a few minutes and enjoying the romance of being in such a place, we were seated at our table whereupon we began a feast of feasts with all sorts of locally caught fish and game. From start to finish, the food was absolutely delicious. And the wine was excellent too...and the desserts!! The service was top-notch and as good as it gets. We had a lovely evening to remember and are making dining at Uley's an annual family tradition. Can't wait for next year!
