“Great scenic short ride close to town.”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

If you're not big on climbing up paved roads and are staying in town, take the town bus to Hunter Hill road, just shy of the trail head.
The trail was fast and fun, but very rocky with a few walk a bike sections.
We took this trail to Whetstone, then back to town via Deli trail and it took just over an hour.

“Nice hike in summer and in winter”
Reviewed December 18, 2011

Peaceful in winter time. I suggest going upper and hooking up to lower. I have walked it both ways. The first time in summer when the signage was not as clear. But, nice scenery and peaceful surroundings.

“Gorgeous views easily found on very scenic hike through woods.”
Reviewed June 24, 2011

Mountain lion and bear may be seen so go with group and sturdy walking stick . You're more likely to be run over by a cyclist though. Great hike with young kids.
