Description: Django's is a locally owned restaurant in Crested Butte, with a seasonal menu of globally inspired small plates. This culinary adventure offers a fun dining experience best shared with friends: the plates are brought one at a time, for everyone to taste more than 20 different selections on the weekly menu. The wines are served by quartino (250ml) carafe, to allow for pairing and sampling across an extensive list focused on European and South American wines. The interior is elegant yet casual, offering seating in low banquettes, high tables, or on the balcony overlooking the bar. If you prefer dining outdoors, grab a table on the front patio, where you can see and be seen on Elk Avenue.

This tiny cozzy elegant restaurant is unique. It has all the qualities of a fine dinning that you would encounter in a big city, but in secluded in the beautiful mountain town of Crested Butte. I will eat there at least once on my next trip this Winter. Great wine list, all price ranges.

Everything about this place is special! From being greeted by Chris' warm smile and the world's friendliest and most helpful waitstaff, to Kate's perfection as a chef and a most remarkable wine list - well, what could be better. Oh, and did I mention the chic decor?

I love django's!

We recently had the sheer delight of finding Django's during a recent stay in Crested Butte. The food is of excellent quality and the wine selection is quite good. We asked for a wine recommendation for the food we got and it was perfect! There is enough variety on the menu that all tastes can be satisfied. One note of caution: they pace the food coming out of the kitchen so if you're used to having all your small plates delivered rapid fire, and therefore order and eat a lot, you might find yourself at the end with a nice doggie bag to take home! We did, and it was wonderful having the leftovers as a yummy snack the next day after a vigorous hike.

What a gem of a place to have stumbled upon as an out-of-towner. Knowledgeable, professional service, impressive variety of menu items very well executed, unexpected yet comfortable and intimate atmosphere. It's difficult to say whether the food or the wine list was the best part of the experience. The lighting in the restroom hallway could be better; after a couple glasses of vino, I had a brief moment of panic trying to locate the door back to the dining area. I wish the proprietors continued success.
