“WOW”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Big wow factor in the fall. We were lucky and drove over the pass while the aspens were at peak color. It's an easy drive even though it's a dirt road at times. A must do drive !

“Never Been Here Before”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

First time to Kebler Pass and we arrived at a beautiful time of year. Some of the most amazing scenery you will ever see are the aspens at this time of year around Kebler Pass. We then proceeded to drive the West Elk scenic loop with frequent stops for pictures and just to gaze at the huge stands of aspens in the West Elk Wilderness. It is a wonderful feeling to live in the state of Colorado and be able to enjoy such beauty only a few hours drive from home. Driving thru Paonia and Hotchkiss(wine country) was also enjoyable. The north rim of the Black Canyon gave us some fantastic views of Morrow Point Reservoir and the San Juan Mountains to the south. It was the kind of experience and scenery I will always remember. Breathtaking is a good description.
