“Great place for breakfast!”
Reviewed December 6, 2011

Just spent a few days in copper checking things out before we bring the family up for the holidays. Over all the food we ate was average to bad except for a couple of places. The alpinista was a highlight of the trip! The atmosphere was great, the staff was even better and the food was some of the best we had on our trip. I would highly reccomend the pancakes! My wife had the breakfast burrito and it was also really good and definitely big enough for 2. They also have a fondu menu that we are looking forward to bringing out kids to over Christmas. Great place to hit up while you are in copper!

“One fail after another”
Reviewed November 26, 2011

5 of us- 2 kids, 3 adults. The waiter was nice enough at first, but it was all downhill from there. After a long wait he brought 3 of the meals, and 10 minutes later still no salads or entrees for the other 2 people. When my husband asked the waiter when we might expect the rest of dinner, he was condescending and rude. The owner claimed he was going to get the rest right out, 10 more minutes go by with no salads, no burgers. By then nobody was interested in waiting, so we asked for the check, expecting the owner would be apologetic and maybe comp the food we did get, but neither was true. Overpriced, ridiculous service, mediocre food, poor recovery from major errors. Never again.

“A family tradition”
Reviewed November 20, 2011

We've eaten here at least 2 times a year for the last 5 years. The fondue is fun for our family, even if somewhat overpriced, but hey, it's at a ski resort. Nice staff that is responsive to kids with food allergies, which we always appreciate.

“Best pancakes I've ever had!”
Reviewed September 26, 2011

My family eats here several times when we go on our ski vacation. Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My favorite is breakfast - I would love to try other breakfast dishes, but their pancakes are so good, I have to get them every time. Small, cozy bistro located at the base of the mountain. Highly recommended.

“Slow service, over-cooked wings”
Reviewed September 4, 2011

We waited over 10 minutes until our waiter showed up. He was super nice, but the service was really slow. The happy hour wings that we ordered were extra overcooked. We probably won't be coming back to this place.
