“do not go”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2008

having booked 5 skiddos we went along to a large tin trailor which was the main building [no heating] having signed a disclaimer for everything that could go wrong we set off no training, no if this breaks you owe us 1000s. we were taken to a track where younger members were let loose no guide lines were issued do your own thing very very dangerous. during the tour various members of the ride were lost because the guide was going to fast we got back thankfully in one
piece. reading the brochure while waiting for the bus it says THINGS WE DONT DO let anyone under the age of 15 drive. WRONG we found out the nephew of the owner was at the back posing as a second guide age 14 and he got lost as well having only driven a skiddo a couple of times. Back at the tin trailor now freezing because it was dark [still
no heating] you sign out [now the best ]your asked/ no told by the guide he wants a tip of 20%

“What an Experience!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2008

During our Christmas Break we made reservations for a 2hr snowmobile tour. We arrived 12/28/2007 for the 12:30 tour. Upon arrival you are a little surprised by the building and the grounds; however you must remember that you are 10,000ft + in elevation and simple accommodations are to be expected. The staff was well organized and the equipment was adequate. The snowmobiles are modern and ran very well. The staff (Ty was our guide) was very attentive to each member of the 12 person group and was very informative on the operation of the snowmobiles. Our tour last 2 hours and took us into scenery rarely scene from the highway an often scene in postcards or travel brochures. That day our guide took us to 12,000ft and the view was amazing. I highly recommend this tour. I do warn you that it is very cold and can be quite windy. They do provide snowsuits, boots, and helmets however it your responsibility to bring the much needed goggles, thermal underwear, ski gloves, and something to cover your nose, mouth, and throat (not a scarf!) during those fast rides thru the trails.

This will be a memorable trip for anyone!!!!

“Wow, what a ride”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2006

We were on vacation in Keystone, Co. It was a clear day so we decided it was perfect for snowmobiling. My son is 16 so we both could have our own machine. WHITE MOUNTAIN TOURS, were just terrific. They are located just past Copper Mt. The ride over was wonderful, but the trip up the mountain was awesome. You don't need to worry they teach you how to drive and handle the machine. Even have warm handle bars for those cold days. They have extra gear so you will stay toasty. Great pictures!!!

“OMG!! This is CANT MISS!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2006

I have taken snow mobile tours in Lake Tahoe, Red River, NM & Winter Park CO. NOTHING compares to the tour White Mountain Tours gave me and my family outside of Copper Mountain. It's a convenient 10 minute drive from Copper. The guide was extremely friendly, helpful....and fast! Most tours I have been on dragged along at 10-15 mph....zzzzzzzzzzz! This one was consistently 30mph + covering lots of terrain and at one point I reached 55mph with my wife holding on to my waste. The kids enjoyed hanging on with friends as well. You go up to 12,500 feet and have hot chocolate directly on the Continental divide. The price was $95 for driver and $45 for passenger....but well worth it....and it will give your legs 1/2 day rest from skiing. Do NOT pass this by!
