Owner description: Frisco or San Francisco. Denver or Dallas. It doesn't matter where you're from. If you've skied here, you've been raised on some of the best Colorado has to offer. For generations, people have valued a down-to-earth ski experience that puts friends, family and a relaxed mountain atmosphere above all else. It's why the Colorado front range has always considered Copper the home team, and why families from across the globe call Copper home. The place you go for a mountain experience that's refreshingly void of pretense. Wherever your home address may be, if you've skied here, you've been raised on Colorado. Welcome home.

I would have liked to rate it a 5 because the skiing was good (considering it was early season and only two lifts running and each had one trail), but we had major issues with Copper Mtn rental and lift tickets. I liken it to mostly new staff for the season, but found it apparent that management had failed to train properly. We had issues with getting the right days on tickets and the right ticket for the right person, etc. all in all my wife and I were at customer service or back at the rental shop 5 times to get mistakes fixed. That doesn't include the others in our group either, the not so funny thing is that we all pre booked online and most all had issues, but not all the same ones. We didn't have a problem skiing, just getting to ski; also it didn't cost us extra $$$, just time. We did have a great time and will go back and rent from Copper again.

Awesome place. High speed lifts, fun/challenging terrain, good beginner area, good lessons for those who need them. I love places with lots of natural jumps, and fun, steep runs, and copper has them. The superpipe was cut beautifully, and the terrain park's transitions were flawless.
The rooms were great, and had nice views, and the package prices were very competitive.
Restaurants were good too, try Alpinesta (however its spelled) for b-fast, and you can have a cold one outside at a bar overlooking the base area with a view of the superpipe, though I can't remember the name.
Transportation through the village area is available, however everything is close enough to walk to.
One of the things that I found cool and different from any other mountain was the woodward barn, an indoor training facility for practicing aerial maneuvers. They do a quick lesson and then you strap on your board and fly into foam pits, really fun, even if you cracked a rib that day. The only bad part of the barn is the staff is really full of themselves, which is easy to laugh off, especially with trampolines and foam pits.

While staying at Frisco, Colorado we went up the road and found the perfect attraction for some summer adventure. The American Eagle ski lift located at Copper Mountain!! For $10 each we could pay for a round trip up Copper Mountain. For only $5 more we could add a stop at their mountain grill. Okay, we thought the grill would probably be a lot of picnic food for $5, but no...it was hamburgers, chicken breast, and pulled pork cooked fresh off the grill!!. We got two fantastic sides, a drink and dessert. The dessert was a huge M&M brownie! They also had gluten-free hamburger buns! Yea me!! The meal was awesome and the ski lift views were unbelievable. We walked around after we ate taking pictures and exploring. We went on one of the trails and found a beautiful fresh spring running down the mountain. This was my favorite day of all the days we were in Colorado. Perfect weather, great food, beautiful scenery...what more could you ask for for $15 a piece! No way!!!
