Owner description: Frisco or San Francisco. Denver or Dallas. It doesn't matter where you're from. If you've skied here, you've been raised on some of the best Colorado has to offer. For generations, people have valued a down-to-earth ski experience that puts friends, family and a relaxed mountain atmosphere above all else. It's why the Colorado front range has always considered Copper the home team, and why families from across the globe call Copper home. The place you go for a mountain experience that's refreshingly void of pretense. Wherever your home address may be, if you've skied here, you've been raised on Colorado. Welcome home.

“Majestic views”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

My wife and I went here to spend a week on our honey moon. Our view from our room was breath taking. We never closed the blinds because we didnt want to quit seieng the view.
We spent hours hicking the mountains and ran into some of the most awesome views you can imagine. You can wlak and follow the paths along side some streams. We also managed to go and visit Vail which was just has if not more exciting. This two locations provide great outdoors adventures and wonderful memories. You can also spend a great day of shopping and history seeking in two near by cities of Frisco and Leadville. Two great towns from the Old Wild West Days. And to top it all, the resort had a guiter fest all weekend. What a blast that was. We will definitely visit again. If we could just avoid the Denver Airport. That is one joke of a place.

“Fun in the summer”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

We had so much fun with our children (ages 8 and 11) playing in all the summer attractions we chose to return for a second day. The price was great compared to Breckenridge and Vail ($44 each) for all day. Almost everything was unlimited except for the go carts and zip lining. This is the part of our vacation that the kids will be talking about for a long time. The crowds were so small we felt like we almost had the place to ourselves.

“If international and US ski teams go there it's got to be good”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Teams come from around the world to ski here...slopes are well groomed...areas are layed out so beginners have their areas and advanced skiers have theirs. Great staff and ski school...very family oriented. lots of fun activities...and if you don't like snow come in the summer and enjoy the golf course and fabulous hiking and mountain biking. Great place to hold a conference. Copper Mountain Community Church is on the resort and offers a traditional service or a mountain top experience. Nice variety of restaurants and shops.

“Great runs”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We had a trip with a mix of skill levels. From first timers and kids to novice adults to expert backcountry regulars. We all found runs that were in our comfort levels as well as runs to challenge us and truely enjoy. Wonderful snow the entire trip.

“Tubing Fun for the Family”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

The tubing hill at Copper is a blast. It's $24 an hour per person which is steep but the fun is worth it. There are 5 very well groomed tubing lanes that range from slowest to fastest with the third lane usually having a jump built in daily.

You grab a tube and let a conveyer belt glide you to the top. You simply step off, go to the desired lane and wait your turn. Each lane has an attendant and you can ask them to spin you or PLEASE don't spin you - and they are great at listening. You start your quick journey down, screaming and laughing, and then slow nicely at the bottom, pick your tube back up and get back on the belt.

They do this in hour increments and we got in 8 rides. I was scared of the jump at first but once I did it, we only went in that lane - so fun!

Snow clothes are most comfortable but not madatory.
