“Good Value for Money”

If you plan to spend a night in Clark, Pampanga, you can never go wrong with Holiday Inn. Rooms are simple but as not spacious as you would expect. They have three restaurants. I recommend trying one in the seventh floor, where you can see a good view of the surrounding landscape.

The hotel needs to upgrade in their internet service. Internet can be found only in the business center. There are no wi-fi areas in the hotel

I stayed in here between March 10 to 22, 2009 on a business trip, my weekends though were spent out of the country as the hotel was located 5 minutes away from the Diosadao Macapagal intl airport, which is actually a budget terminal with carriers operating offering cheap rides. The hotel is inside Mimosa leisure park. The only leisure you may find though is the numerous casinos inside Clark zone, a former airbase. Hotel staff is an absolute friendly one. The staff seemd to be familiar with the guests to my surprise that most of them would know my room number. Three restau's located inside the business hotel, I like the Copa's bar, exceptional bartenders would engage you in nice conversations and again, the remember you well if you're an inhouse guest. The hotel is also a Piority club affilite, so you'd get the points earned for your stay. The pool bar only opens on weekends which kinda sucks. Renovations made were only rooms, It's now asian type, the beds were different too. I remember getting a really nice king size that's really soft and comfy while the queens are quite hard, like most asian beds. Relatively old structure needing renovations for most parts of the place. One may notice that it is a business hotel on daylight, at night comes with local filipina girls everywhere and surrounding the hotel obviously hitting on foreign tourists. These girls can turn agressive that they can introduce themselves which happened to me inside the bar's hotel. Not really my kind of trip, as I am a filipino too, I found it condescending to my race. The food menu is kinda the same for the three restau's ecept for some brazilian bbque up on the top level.

I recently had a conference at the Clark Holiday inn about three weeks ago (Mar 6-14). I must say that the hotel didn’t resemble a Holiday Inn that I am accustomed to back in the USA. This Holiday Inn was more of a Euro boutique hotel. The hotel was really modern and updated. The rooms a bit small, but reasonable in size. The beds are big and have nice liens on them. The bath rooms are all updated with nice tile and walk in showers. The only thing that kind of sucked is that the windows in the rooms don’t open up, not even a crack. The hotel has a nice pool and decent gym. The location is great since its located next to the old Clark AFB command HQ and there is a very large park/ track if you’re a jogger. The main thing I really have to comment on is the restaurants and the head Kitchen Director. The food is absolutely to die for. The morning buffet and lunch located on the first floor are really very high quality. The new Kitchen Director Mr Dennis Barton has recently taken over the kitchen and I can say he really does have a lot of passion for his job. The mate was really very polite and listens to his customers. Dennis also recommends the Brazilian restaurant on the 7th floor, to die for!!!!! Me and my mate had dinner up there the night before we left Clark, and the food was better than any high end restaurant in Los Angeles / Hollywood, really. The price for the entire meal was about $20 US. Over all, great value for the money.

I have just returned to the UK from a road trip from Manila north to Baguio and the surrounding areas. I have been to the Philippines many times previously and regularly stay at Holiday Inn’s in the UK. Being my first visit to the Holiday Inn Clark Field I was unsure if this hotel would match up to it’s western counterparts; I was pleasantly surprised!

Stayed 3rd and 6th February 2009. We had two deluxe rooms on each of the nights, one smoking and one non-smoking.

The hotel has been recently renovated and this appears fundamentally complete with the exception of the final scenic lift as mentioned in other reviews. On booking with the hotel I asked for assurance that the work was complete and received email confirmation from the manager. On checking in the manager, Mr. Antonio Hernandez Canovas, came out to welcome us to his hotel and to ensure that our stay was comfortable which I appreciated.

The rooms were of a good size as described on their website with ample facilities for a comfortable stay. Everything worked well; the hot shower was excellent; the posturepeadic bed extremely comfortable, the large LCD TV great and the English breakfast tea welcome.

The general hotel all seemed to be in good order with regard to the outdoor pool, business area with internet access, great children’s room, pool and lounge bars, restaurant, pastries counter and many other facilities as you’d expect.

It is a little remote from the any nightlife but this may appeal to many guests. The hotel car to town is 300PHP each way which we found to be a very prompt and efficient transfer 24/7.

KLM managed to loose my bags for a couple of days and had to send on. The hotel assisted with providing toiletries and offered to help me buy new clothing. They chased the courier for me and took delivery of my bag while I continued my vacation. They couldn’t have done more!

This hotel may not be for everyone as it is very large but it does retain a comfortable and friendly atmosphere as the staff are always available in the background. I would highly recommend if you want a clean, comfortable and friendly stay.

Our thanks to the staff and management for the best stay we had outside of Manila.

This hotel is great to stay. Very conveniently located to the Clark International Airport, approximately 5 to 10 mins drive, yet boast of quietness and lots of space.
The hotel just undergone refurbishments in the rooms and main areas. Rooms are clean and neat and overall ambience is soft. .The service staff are friendly and approachable as they greet you everywhere you go. When I mentioned that they have missed something on my room service menu, the staff brough it to my room immediately even though the item is not chargeable. I also get a chance to feedback on my dine in menu.
