We have always stayed at this hotel using our membership card and it has always been good. Although, it might look a bit tired(old hotel i think)but the ammenities in the room is ok. What really impresses us is the food which is delicious. Much to improve on service but its a given as i can see they are really tryimg to make us feel at home. Duty Manager Ian has been nothing but fantastic when attending to us. Overall keep up the good work.

Room Tip: Choose a Villa instead of Rooms as they are much larger in size and very accomodating

I always stay in Holiday Inn Clark because of their hospitable staffs. The rooms are big, good for a family who wants to relax and enjoy the beauty of Clark. Mequeni and Rodizio restos are the best place to indulge your taste buds. By the way, the pool is so nice, you can swim all day with life guards looking for your safety. Well, the fitness gym is also nice, don't forget your key card when you want to visit. Rest assured you'll have a great stay in Holiday Inn. All worth it. I love Holiday Inn. My home away from home. Cheers!

We attended a five-day seminar/workshop there and I must say I was disappointed with Holiday Inn Clark. I have some complaints on service and structure:
(1) We had nothing to look forward to during lunch break and dinnertime. This was very disappointing because the province of Pampanga is known for great chefs and cooks! The food for lunch and dinner was very similar over the five days — it was already boring on day 2. The food was not even spectacular to begin with. Even the drink got boring: always iced tea only — a single flavor every time. They could have offered some flavors (raspberry, etc.?) for the iced tea just to change it up a bit.
(2) There was one time we had to leave the function room because it was going to be used by another group right away. What kind of hotel schedules function rooms back-to-back like that? The workshop was going so well, with everyone working even up to the late hours but we were not allowed in the function room. I know this might have been a problem with the events organization, but given that it was a 5-day workshop, I think it would have been better if they had not scheduled anything else for other people within those 5 days, even at night. Think about lost, misplaced, or forgotten items.
(3) There was one night we had videoke. The waiter informed us we had only up to 11pm (We thought: 11pm really? That's too early!). While we were still enjoying ourselves, the staff was already setting up for the next day — now that's a mood killer. When it was already 11pm, and we still had several songs lined up for the videoke (about 4, an extra twenty minutes?), the waiter walked up to the machine and deleted every song but the last — again a buzz kill. I don't think you should do that to your customers. Or they should start allowing for very late-night parties (I don't care if they charge extra for it).
(4) The users in the function room next door was very noisy, causing some distraction in our workshop. The walls were very thin, and the sound insulation was very low. I think the hotel needs to do something about that if they intend to use the function rooms simultaneously — otherwise one group may suffer. Or they have to actively tell the noisy ones to keep it down.
(5) The only upside for me was the room — but I still have complaints. While it was quite roomy, there were only a few outlets (bad if you and your roommate have laptops and other devices that need charging at the same time). For rooms with more than one bed, please assume that room occupants may not know each other entirely well, so bathroom doors should not have slats to afford more privacy.
The good things: the room was quite big, the pool seemed better than ok (I didn't swim because of the workshop but I stayed poolside when we were asked to leave the function room), the breakfast at Mequeni's was spectacular (I don't usually eat breakfast but I couldn't resist).
Overall, I was very disappointed because I thought the hotel was rated four stars, and the cost (even discounted) didn't help. The little things mattered more, and this is where the hotel failed in my opinion.

Dear OgorCruise,

Thank you for taking time to share your feedback following your stay.

I am deeply concerned and sorry that the incidents with your 5 day seminar casted a shadow on your entire stay and please rest assured that your experience isn’t reflective of the high standards we usually pride ourselves with. Your comments have highlighted the opportunity for us to review the arrangements on food and beverage, function room assignment especially those having 3 days or more conference/seminar days with us.

On a lighter note, we are delighted to know that you had a spectacular Mequeni breakfast experience during your stay.

I am very sorry that this incident has impacted your perception of Holiday Inn Clark, and I would encourage you to contact me at mabel.lopez@ihg.com if I can be of assistance for your future visit in Clark.

Sincerely yours,

Mabel Lopez-Roman
Director of Sales

We've stayed in this hotel for a few times many years ago and I can stay it has not changed much. That's both good and bad. Good because it has been maintained fairly well with only a fee signs of deterioration. However, given that it's a little pricey, I would have preferred if they did some renovations to keep it modern. If it were a choice between here and the outdated villas in Fontana, I would rather stay here. Overall, it could be better but still is better than others.

We stayed 2 nights on business. We were given rooms on the third and fifth floors. The rooms were big with coffee and tea, an ironing board, hairdryers and strong water supply in the showers. The rooms were well lot and the bed is very comfortable. Pillows provided give you a choice of whether they are firm or soft. The room aircon cools the room but not to the point of freezing. The buffet at their restaurant offers a variety of dishes and we sampled their breakfast, lunch and dinner services which were excellent and delicious.

We booked this hotel as we had an early morning flight from clark and had no alternative but to spend an evening in clark. We had been warned about the rather seedy side to clark and had made the decision to stay here as we believed that the holiday inn chain would ensure that our son that was travelling with us would be protected from seeing the side of clark that would be openly visible in many of the other hotels that had better rooms for similar prices. We wanted a hotel where we wouldn't have to leave the complex for the day prior to our flight or the evening. We were happy to forgo more interesting pools, more updated newer rooms and numberous choices of multiple restaurants in the hope that our son wouldn't see any ladies of the night. However we checked out at 4.30am and in the foyer lounge was 4 women sitting around who clearly were exactly that. Very disappointing, but I must also mention that we remained by the pool until 8pm the night before and didn't see any sign of it until early the next morning. The rooms are very tired (as is the pool area) but the staff were absolutely great with our son and did all that they could to make our son feel very welcome and no request was responded to in any other manner other than absolutely positively and without any signs of inconvenience. The other concern was that we booked for 2 adults and 1 child but only recieved one bed in the room. They did however bring a matress on the floor to the room on request with no extra charge.

Room Tip: or room had a view over a rather untidy looking area behind the hotel. Perhaps request a room with a...
