“would stay again”
Reviewed May 12, 2009

the room was a good size and seemed clean but the AC could not cool the room. do not know if the south exposure was part of the issue but kept it from being comfortable till late evening. the breakfast was a light continental.

Very nice room considering the price. Clean and comfortable.
All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast only average.

If you do stay here, check your door fit. I found that my first room had a gap which allowed for very quick opening by just inserting a credit card in against the locks. When looking for another room selection, I noted several rooms on the third floor had this gap. Partly due to warping and absense of weather stripping.

The problem: Two barking dogs next to me. I enjoy pets but not in hotel rooms. Two television investigative programs including the one by John Stossel proved with black light as to how dirty rooms are that have housed pets. Deep cleaning after pets? I don't think so. It was not a Ramada, but I was in a room that had a pile of dog feces behind the easy chair. I left. The hotels could care less about cleanliness, allergies etc. when it comes to pets.
I wish the "pet friendly" hotels would be "people friendly."

We spent three nights at the Ramada Inn for a tournament. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable, although views of the mountains are lacking.

I liked the fact that each room had a refrigerator and microwave oven. There is a small indoor pool and jacuzzi which is nice during cold days and the staff were friendly.

There is a free breakfast area that serves your typical cereals, fresh fruit, danish, yogurt, coffee, juice, and even a waffle iron. The Ramada also sits in the same lot as a McDonalds and is within walking distance from an Olive Garden restaurant.

The Ramada is located about 5 minutes from the Olympic Training Center and Downtown and is approximately 30 minutes away from the Pikes Peak Hwy.

I've been to comparable hotels and have not had as positive an experience as I have had here. The accomodations and the service were well worth their price.

  • Liked — The rooms were clean and comfortable.
  • Disliked — There were no views to the mountains.

Stayed there this past weekend with my two young daughters. Hotel was just what we expected, great as can be. Nancy at the front counter was very nice and accommodating. The pool was very comfortable. The hot tub was a plus too. Breakfast buffet looked great (sorry, my kids wanted to eat McDonalds that is right across the parking lot). Would definately go out of my way to stay there again.

I moved to this hotel after staying at a Ho Jo south of downtown. What a difference! Sheets were clean and crisp, carpet was clean, parking lot, lobby, hallways, all clean. The breakfast was great and the desk clerks all very helpful. Area in general seemed safe and well lighted. I would recommend this hotel to any one and especially if you are participating at the Olympic Training Center. 5-10 minutes tops and a Wal-Mart on the way. Make sure and sign up for Trip Rewards and you will earn free nights, I have used several already.

When I visited my son at Fort Carson, I had the pleasure of staying at the Ramada. The staff was very friendly and attended to our needs in a timely mannor. The room was nice and clean and the area where the Inn is located is nice as well. This place is pretty much central to all of the local attractions. I would not hesitate to stay here again if the need arises.

We stayed here for vacation. There is nothing special about this hotel, but it is quite reasonably priced. The continental breakfast was quite good. The first room we had, the air conditioner didn't work and the lady at the front desk moved us to another room--actually she gave us our choice of rooms and gave us keys to both so we could make sure it was ok. Fairly conveniently located. There's also a Mc Donalds and Walgreens within the block. To get to decent dining, it is at least a mile drive. The pool is small, but refreshing enough. The hot tub was very hot and our sore muscles really appreciated it!
