The hotel description (per ChoiceHotels.com, their homepage) promised "Free Full Hot Breakfast " and " Free Wireless High Speed Internet Access". The only hot part of breakfast is make-your-own waffles, and the only proteins are cold hardboiled eggs, yogurt, and milk (for cereal). Don't be fooled into thinking you'll get the bacon or sausage and scrambled eggs or omelette that other hotels offer as a hot breakfast. Located at Sleep Inn, the breakfast room is shared with Comfort Suites. A more accurate description would be "Deluxe Continental Breakfast". Also be aware that the rooms have shower stalls rather than tubs.
That's the good part. Their wifi internet access is SO BAD, SO SLOW, we would have been better off with dial-up. Pages were so slow to come up, Windows usually gave the "can't display" error message. Internet access on the "business center" computer in the lobby of the adjoining Comfort Suites was no better....meaning these two hotels offer no USABLE internet access.
The indoor water slide w/pool, outdoor pool, and whirlpool (located at Comfort Suites, but shared by both hotels) are popular--and full of kids. There's also a small pool partially indoor and partially out. They all contain some sort of salt water rather than chlorine or bromine.
Their rates fluctuate between $50 and $100 (or more) per night, so you might look elsewhere when their rates are high, or if you absolutely need the internet.More
