Quiet, helpful people, clean room, always a good bed and easy to access. I always look for Comfort Inn when I travel. The snacks left for us in the room were and added bonus as we were travel weary.
Since this was a one night stay and we were here for a funeral we were not expecting to visit a pool or go site seeing.

This was our final night on a LONG family road trip with our small children. Near the airport and not terribly hard to get to from the interstate. Initially we had a problem with the a/c but were promptly moved to a new room. Both rooms were tidy but common areas needed vacuuming. The breakfast selection was decent and well maintained. Lots of construction noise from the next lot over (which obviously the hotel can't control). An average hotel, average room, good service. Our only complaint, the pool was FRIGID and much too cold for our young ones.

My fiance arranged a trip out to SW Colorado for my 30th birthday. He had everything arranged months in advance. This included online reservations he made at the Comfort Inn. He arranged for us to stay there the night we flew in and the night before we flew out. The 2 nights in between were spent in Canon City and Buena Vista. The night we arrived at the Comfort Inn we asked about the hot tub. The receptionist told us it was right down the hall near the pool. We checked into our room, changed into suits and walked down to the pool area. There was a large sign on the door that sad "Hot Tub Out of Order". Funny the receptionist didn't mention this when we asked about the hot tub. Our room seemed clean and dust free. We weren't fully stocked with towels though. We were missing some of each size. We were also missing the body soap and the facial soap Choice Hotels generally stock you with. The lotion that was provided was partially empty.

We checked out the next morning hoping for better results at our next few stays. We returned 3 days later, the night before we flew out, and had a fully stocked bathroom in a different room we had stayed in the night before.

About a week after our stay my fiance was balancing his accounts and noticed he was charged for staying at the Comfort Inn 4 nights. He called immediately and referred to his online booking. He explained that we check out and returned days later before our departing flight. He even explained we stayed at another Choice Hotel in Canon City the following night. The receptionist didn't believe him and told him she'd have to check the surveillance. She called back hours later and told him she checked with housekeeping and they advised that they had to service the room those 4 days because we didn't check out. We could not believe how dirty this housekeeper was. We weren't even given the same hotel room when checking back in on the 4th night. We knew they were lying and trying to get money from us. My fiance wouldn't accept her answer and told her to call the Canon City chain and they would prove our nights stay their. They were able to guarantee we stayed with them. The receptionist showed no empathy or remorse for their mistake. She did credit our account and I can safely write this review now that the credit hit our bank account.

I decided to do some research about this hotel and have read some terrible, similar instances to ours. There have been charges made on accounts for pet fees, extra nights, etc. Most of what I saw came from the cleaning staff who was making up these false charges.

We ended up staying at this Comfort Inn for 1 month before we closed on our home. We were given a tour of the facility and an awsome rate by Roberta, the manager. The room was kept tidy despite our having toys for our 3 year old, a file cabinet, and electronics galore to handle our business while we stayed. Santa even left a gift bag for our little one outside our door when our closing got delayed :))
The location is quiet even though it is conveniently located a short drive from the airport, etc. I slept well every night in their very comfortable beds. Their Non-Smoking rooms do NOT smell of smoke - legal or illegal! Housekeeping adjusted their rounds accordingly; we were NEVER disturbed when we put our Do Not Disturb request on the door. I felt safe going out to my car at night, and the staff was so helpful in guiding us through the process of becoming residents of the great state of Colorado!
The cleanliness of the pool/whirlpool was hit and miss on weekends, depending on the number of guests and whether or not they obeyed the posted signs.
The breakfast bar is usually well stocked and always clean. They also leave fresh fruit out for healthy snacks:)) The only suggestion I would make is to add one bold flavored coffee to the station. Highly recommend to those who don't want to pay extra for a concierge and fancy fountain in the lobby.

We drove into Colorado Springs late at night, having traveled the entire day from Durango,Colorado.
Well we came in the opposite end from where the hotel was located. This was the end near the airport of Colorado Springs. Long story we were lost. I called the hotel, wish I could remember the young man's name at the desk. But he literally stayed on my cell phone and directed us to the hotel . He was great. We got there, got in our room. Room was clean. Next morning we had the breakfast at the hotel. He helped as well to places places to were interested in seeing. It was great. When we were in Durango at a Comfort INN. I am sold on them as well as Best Westerns. Why...well you can stay at the mom and pop motels which we did in Estes Park.Sorry we did.

We stayed in the next building ajoining the hotel on the ground floor. The door was left opened all night, anybody could walk in and out, no reception desk. A vending machine and a very loud ice maker was outside our bedroom which kept my family and I awake all night. Cleaning staff went out knocking on doors to wake people up early the next morning. Breakfast person had her daughter working with her and didn't speak to anybody, didn't replace food in the self service breakfast bar i.e. Bread.
