When we arrived at this location, we were told that our room included a handi-cap accessible shower. I said that we were o.k. to change and the agent at the desk said that since we had booked the last room in our price range, that's all they had left. That was fine. There were a lot of families there - but happily our room (which was on the first floor) was quiet and we got a great night's sleep. Our room also had a "sitting area" with a couch and desk. That was a bonus because area of the room where the bed was located was away from the hallway.

We did take note that this location has exceptionally nice towels, average bedding and pretty good pillows. The quality of the mattress in our room was excellent.

This location boasts of an indoor-outdoor pool with a slide and it seemed like everyone we saw in the lobby had a swimsuit on, so I get the idea that this is a well-known and popular place for families to stay.

The complimentary breakfast at this location is adequate, with the usual choices - including waffles, sausage and eggs, cold cereal, muffin and other breakfast bread choices, yogurt, fresh fruit and hard-boiled eggs; as well as juice, milk and coffee.

The staff was friendly.

There is a Walmart close by, if you need. Also there is a mall, but it was about 1/2 vacant. Lots of popular restaurants very close by. Very easy access from the freeway, too.

Room Tip: There are no rooms on the lobby level; the first floor is a short flight of stairs up to the next level and the elevator is very handy. This hotel is not located close to the freeway or any main roads so it is assumed that all of the rooms are equally quiet.

We set up for vaction and reserved a suite when we arrived the suite looked like a
football team had worked the room over. The food was worthless and the safety rails on
the pool were falling off. I will say after much discussion and trying to get the Mgr. to
do the right thing we did get 2 singles that for the most part were fit for humans to
exist in. The Corp. Office again after much discussion and having picture evidence of the
room and their money back policy sign did refund our money. But let's face it this is
just another BAD Hotel. The savings are not worth it, stay to a Hilton chain or
other completely proven run chain for clean and reliable living conditions.

Would not recommend - broken hideabed sofa, loose plumbing & electrical, pool & breakfast shared with EconoLodge next door, pizza, alcohol, smoking pool side, poor management

Room Tip: Don't believe everything you see in the pretty pictures.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for time to write a review about our hotel. I deeply regret the experience you had at our hotel. Sorry to hear of the broken items. This is not a typical stay a guest of ours would experience. I hope that you give us a second chance when your travels bring you back to Colorado Springs. Thank you again.

This is an older building, but well maintained and comfortable. you feel as though it is grand. The first thing I noticed was that although the desk clerk was very helpful when I arrived, she failed to ask me if I had a Choice Rewards card, or to offer to sign me up for one. I look forward to using my rewards cards and I travel a lot so I would of been an easy sell and very appreciative. The room was clean and nice, but the bed was very firm. So much so that I looked for plywood under it. There was none, but if you need a softer bed, your back will be sore in the morning. The entire facility is smoke free. It is close to many hotels and restaurants and right off the highway. Breakfast in the morning with hot food is included in the room price. Room was spacious.

Deart Guest,
Thank you for taking time to write a review of our hotel. We very much appreciate it. I'm delighted to hear that you found our hotel to be in exceptional condition. Our employees are our best assets and they do a great job at maintaining and taking ownership of the hotel. I apologize that the front desk agent did not ask you to join Choice Privileges. It is to be offered to any guest who is not a member of the loyalty program. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we'll be training our employees on how to property identify non-cp guests. I'm sorry to hear that the mattress was firm. This may be due to the fact that we have recently flipped & turned our mattresses. Nonetheless, we'll have maintenance look into it. Thank you again for your insights and kind words. Hope to see you again when your travels bring you to beautiful Colorado Springs!

We stayed here with teenage girls for a basketball tournament. Our suite room (king bed, pull out sofa) was spacioius & had a fridge and microwave. The pool was very small and the slide was OK, but better for little kids and rather than teens. Breakfast was average. Rooms were clean. Good value.
