Had a great overnight get-away. Booked this with name-your-own-price and got an incredible price. They have beautiful amenities and a huge, heated pool/jacuzzi. Had evening cocktails on the main lodge's upper balcony in front of the fire pit. Staff brought blankets to cuddle up in.

Rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Lovely balcony perfect for sipping morning coffee. Quiet resort and great for families!

We were excited to stay here because it was so highly reviewed but were disappointed for a few reasons. The first is we were put in the bottom corner room right next to a very large electrical unit that never went to sleep like us. This meant it was very loud at all times. The second was there were creepy crawly friends right when we entered to greet us to our room. But that's not all, their friends decided to crash our party the next day too so we had about six or seven large spiders, ants, and pincher bugs on the floor, ceiling, and even on the bed. Luckily caught them and let them go outside but my girlfriend couldn't sleep very well knowing there was an open door policy here for those guys. Now I fully understand what type of environment we were in and expected some interaction with insects but not that much, especially for a nice place like this. I've been camping and seen a lot less bugs in my tent over the course of a week. The staff didn't seem to care too much after we gave them the cliff notes version of our stay. Oh well!

I was quite surprised at the price of this place. It was a great price for the amount of amenities that were available. Our stay was great except that one day someone who worked at the hotel walked into our room without knocking (at least we think they worked there). Also they were doing some work in our building and made quite a bit of noise early in the morning. Most of our building was empty so I don't think too many people were disturbed. The good part was that a good portion of the noise was due to carpet cleaning. That is always a good thing though at a hotel. At least your know they are making efforts to clean it.

Room Tip: I recommend the resort view but that may mean you have to hike a bit to get to any of the pools. If...

We had reservations at this facility for Mother's Day weekend this year. We had plans to invite our entire family (13) to enjoy their roast beef buffet dinner that Saturday Night and we decided to upgrade to a suite so our granddaughter wouldn't have to drive back to Fort Collins afterwards. They didn't have any available but accommodated us beautifully by giving us a large room for entertaining on one side of the entry hall and a regular hotel room on the other side. The whole end of the building was basically ours, and included a wonderful wrap around porch so we could enjoy different views, but the mountain/golf course view was definitely the best. The facility was in good repair and everything was very clean. We enjoyed small plates and drinks in the bar at lunch and the food was excellent as were the drinks. The buffet dinner was good but not as good as the small bites. Apparently they make "smores" out by the fireplace on Saturday night but we missed it. I would agree with another reviewer that it was a very good value. We missed the Sunday brunch because they were booked up by the time we called for reservations. Buffet breakfast was included with our room but we missed it every day because we slept too late.

This is our second trip to CMR. We went last minute over Memorial Day, and got an incredible price on our room. It was very busy, and when we got there our room wasn't ready, so they were kind enough to let us use all of their facilities while we waited. They have a fantastic outdoor pool/jacuzzi complete with snack bar & alcohol for the adults. They are connected to a country club where you have full, free use of the facilities. They have a nice lake with free kayaks, paddle boats and really fun Aqua Bikes. There's a large outdoor olympic sized pool and an indoor lap pool as well. The tennis courts are incredible (both outdoor and indoor). There's a golf course and nice restaurant attached. All of the prices are really reasonable. I've never had room service in my life, but their prices were great, so we even indulged in that. It was such a fun weekend and we will definitely be back!!

This is a beautiful resort with awesome views of the mountains! Very nice lobby that leads to a huge deck once again overlooking the mountains. The deck has a big fire pit surrounded by rocking chairs to sit and relax and enjoy the view. Nice, big outdoor heated pool and hot tub. We did not eat at any of the restaurants due to the expense. The resort is connected to a country club and that is where the golf, tennis, basketball courts, workout facility and additional swimming pools are located. If you are interested in playing tennis, bring your own racquets. $5 per person to reserve their racquets. The room was nice sized. Perfect deck to sit on and drink coffee in morning overlooking the mountains. Beds were amazing-slept wonderful every night! We only had two disappointing experiences at this resort. First, the front desk person was clueless about the activities going on at the country club. She could not provide any info about the tennis, golf, etc. Second, our room was not thoroughly cleaned on that first day we arrived. There were several pieces of food under the dresser/armoire and along the corner of the walls. It looked like they vacuumed the center of the floor, but did not go along the edges. Then, the worst part, I pulled down the comforter and there was black hair covering the sheets. A couple were curly black hairs, which made me think it was pubic hairs? The comforter also had a brown stain on it. I called housekeeping and they immediately came to the room and vacuumed and changed sheets, but my initial perception of this resort wasn't good. A clean room is priority to me! Later, I realized that they allowed pets in the rooms, so I figured unless someone cut their hair over the sheets, it was probably dog hair that came off the comforter. When you allow animals in the rooms, you have to wash the comforters too! After this first incident, the room was kept nice and clean and we did end up thoroughly enjoying our time here.

Room Tip: We overlooked the golf course and had no other rooms in front of us. Third floor. So, our view of...

One of best value resorts in Co Springs, specially for families. Spacious mountain-view rooms with two queen beds, pools, and activities for every one. Good breakfast on terrace with the mountain view. Don't miss and don't forget to book ahead for Sunday brunch if you happen to spend weekend days there. Staffs are friendly and professional. Negatives are room floor and walls are thin. Foot steps from room right above and noise from the next rooms can be annoying. For some who do not appreciate dog barking in a hotel, beware that they allow dogs into the rooms here. Overall, reasonable room rate even on Memorial weekend...Good value.
