A significant disappointment. Our food came out very irregularly. Three pastas-as-entrees arrived w appetizer. Two pastas-as-entrees arrived with remaining three entrees. Several of our side vegetables arrived after entrees were finished. Zucchini pizza had a total of five slices of zucchini, but oil from pesto was so ample the slices couldn't be picked up. Sent that one back. Lasagna was mediocre and far from hot. Veal was dry. Side of snap peas also was way over- oiled. Swordfish and chicken were excellent, however.
Servers did not appear to be trained by The Broadmoor. Simple courtesies such as removing plates individually rather than stacking them on table were lacking.
Our dessert presentations were beautiful but not exceptionally tasteful.
The design of the restaurant diminishes the beauty of the lake and outdoors; rather, the open kitchen is the dominant feature, which I feel creates a stressful atmosphere. A far cry from the simple elegance of Charles Court.
I cannot fathom why this is the replacement for Charles Court. A return visit for us is highly doubtful.
