“NOT WORTH IT!!!!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2009

I love the atmosphere at The Summit and the service is always pretty good. However, I have been there twice and the food was HORRIBLE!!! I had scallops that were not seared correctly and they were sandy. My husband had the salmon that was WAY over cooked. The dessert was a piece of dried out cake. We could have easily made a much better meal at home!!! I would definately not reccomend eating here or really anywhere at The Broadmoore.

“Great food, disappointing service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2009

My wife and I visited Colorado Springs for the first time last weekend. We were excited to conclude the weekend with a dinner at the Broadmoor. The food met all of our expectations.

I had the gnocchi with mushrooms to begin, which were outstanding. For dinner, she had the steak, while I had the duck breast. Our profiteroles for dessert were a great recap.

The only issue was the forgetful service. When we entered, the general manager greeted us and we talked about New York, where we are from, as was the chef and designer. Too bad the server didn't, as she rarely made it to our table. It took multiple efforts to get simple things like salt and butter. Worse, we never saw her throughout our meal, and she made a half-hearted attempt to talk to us after the meal (to get our check).

We would eat here again, but hopefully the service improves.

“Six Stars for Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2009

We enjoyed at lite, late dinner at the Summit. We did not stay at the Broadmoor, but knew from past experiences that the food there is excellent, so we made a special trip just for dinner. Because I did not have a jacket, the casual atmosphere of the Summit was perfect for us. We ate dinner at the bar.

We shared Angry Trout that was perfectly fresh, and a very nice beet salad, and a couple of glasses of wine.

Our interaction with the bartender really enabled us to enjoy our evening. And, we learned a thing or two about making cocktails! Very highly recommended for great food and a fantastic night out. Afterward we walked the grounds at the Broadmoor hotel property which was absolutely beautiful.

“Summit is at the top of our list”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2009

Had dinner with my wife while staying at The Broadmoor. Great experience. Had a drink at the bar before being seated, very chic. Everything was superb. Wife had beef shortribs and i had the Lamb loin. Wine selection was extensive, and waiter provided great service. For the quality of the experience, it was worth everyone dollar. We consider ourselves foodies and dine at fine restaurants always in our travels, this was a memorable dinner and will go back the next time in Col. Springs.

“Excellent style and food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2008

This place deserves a write-up separate from the Broadmoor complex. Very sophisticated dinning in a beautiful setting. Great bar with amazing wine storage carousel behind the bar. 2 menus one seasonal and one that doesn't change. The food is excellent. Wine selection is outstanding. Service is very good.
