“Super friendly owner/Great Hotel”

We stayed at the hotel for our summer vacation. Only to be greeted by a wild fire. Mike was awesome through the whole thing, he kept us informed through every stage. He gave us great ideas for other things to as most of the normal attractions were closed. I had a snafu with my credit card and Mike worked with me. We'd go back just because of him and his attention to us as customers. But I'd also go back because of the Hotel, loved the hard wood floors, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. Love the old motel feel with the modern day updates. This is a must stay hotel when your in Colorado Springs!

Individually-owned hotel close to Manitou Springs and Clolorado City. Beautiful hardwood floors and old-fashioned touches in room. Real wine glasses and coffee cups as well as individual internet router in each room.

We stayed at the Hotel San Ayre to celebrate my significant others birthday. The owners were very accommodating, showing us how things worked. The room was quaint, cozy and beautifully decorated and had the feel of a 1950's motor court but with much more charm. We managed to lock ourselves out of our room and called the emergency number. Mike, the owner, was there in a flash and got us back into our room even after discovering we had the extra key. He kept his sense of humor and assured us we were not the first to do this. We enjoyed the out door sitting areas in the evening. The hotel is centrally located to the area attractions and some place I would certainly go back.

Room Tip: The next time I would try the standard quest room just to experience the “Old Motor Court Stay”

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. It was the perfect location for us- Right next to Pikes Peak and Garden of the gods, and only about 15 minutes from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Seven Falls. There's also a grocery store right across the street and downtown Manitou Springs is right down the road. The hotel was cute and clean too. Very good for the price we paid! The owners are very nice too. They are very accommodating and helpful. The only thing we thought was weird was that they didn't clean our room, so we had to take our own trash out back. But overall a great little place to stay!!

The owner, Mike, was super helpful - giving us hiking tips, restaurant recommendations and sights to see. The converted motor lodge was charming. We had the 2 bedroom suite, complete with kitchen, dining and living area. You could see for miles from our private deck. Great price. Great views. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently took over most of the hotel and the two houses on the property for my daughter's wedding. I think we had 17 people. Mike was super accommodating and even made sure we got into our rooms early to get ready for the wedding. It was perfect for our large group. The rooms were really nice and the houses were large, neat, clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Close to downtown Manitou Springs and Old Colorado Springs where there is an abundance of shopping and excellent restaurants. Safeway, Starbucks and Sonic were all across the street. We really had a good time and the owners were super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend Hotel SanAyre and would stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

We recently stayed on property (though not in the hotel) and had a wonderful experience.

The property is centrally located to all the main sites. Garden of the Gods is so close that my husband ran there are part of his morning run! An added benefit was the Safeway right down the street from the property.

Both Manitou Springs and Old Colorado Springs City are charming and have wonderful dining choices. We stayed out a house on the property (the loft house) was very newly renovated, well equipped and had a ton of space. The house has two bedrooms and a loft bedroom that could easily accomodate. More depending on how much personal space you do or do not prefer :)

The property owners were super nice and helpful. I highly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay at this property.
