“It's getting better”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

This historic part of Colorado Springs is on the way up to Manitou Springs (a real tourist trap, but fun) and Pike's Peak. It has some good restaurants and shopping. Overall the prices are reasonable and you can find some real shopping bargains. They're fixing it up, and every time we return it's a little nicer.

“Great time anytime of the year”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

The many shops and eateries in this old town section offer lots to see and do-strolling carolers in winter and patio restaurants in summer, wine tours, Territory Days, summer Farmer's Market and more. Pizzeria Rustica is a must-eat place for authentic, thin-crust pizza direct from Italy. There's a tile/terracotta shop on the west end that has tons of pots and tiles for your home. Too many shops to list plus art galleries-we like OCC better than downtown Manitou-better selection of stores and restaurants. Another must-eat place is Jake and Telly's Greek-fantastic and authentic.

“Love OCC in the summers.”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

I love shopping and eating here in the summers when it is warm. SO pretty and yet small and cozy. One of the best places to visit in the springs!

“Lots of neat stores and restaurants”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

We spent a weekend a few blocks away. What a quaint and delightful area. We ate at a delicious Mexican restaurant and shopped in some really cute stores. Very difficult to find street parking open. I suggest just taking your time shopping and stepping into one of the many restaurants.
Among all this, there is a FANTASTIC, intimate, little venue here that has a variety of music and shows, The Loft. Now that was a little treasure to find and enjoy a concert!!

You'll spend all day window shopping. Great bars and restaurants too. Everything from a French bakery to a cowboy bar.
