We went to town to celebrate our last night at the OTC. We ordered whiskeys and each ordered a plate of chips and dip. We could have shared a plate between us they were so large and pretty darned good. We waited a long time for the music to start. We were a little disappointed when it turned out to be some type of jazz and not Irish music. I now understand that the Irish music is mostly on Sunday afternoons. I only learned this when a Colorado Springs resident bodhran player stopped in to play with us at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville and told us about the Sunday afternoon Irish music session at Jack Quinns. Seems like they have "something for everyone. We thought the jazz was a little loud, so we each had another whiskey and staggered outside to find a taxicab right out front for the short trip back to the OTC. Pretty good night. Actually found we could have ridden the bus . . . who knew?
