We were staying at the Broadmoor for several days and had family in the area with small kids we wanted to see. We thought Play might be a good place for dinner as we hoped they could bring the kids and not worry about them being super quiet and on their best behavior. With only two days notice, the bowling was completely booked that evening so bowling wasn't an option but we could get a table for dinner. I was pretty disappointed with the menu. It felt to me like everyone struggled to find something to order. Mostly, though, we were there in July and it was absolutely freezing in the restaurant. All of us were quite uncomfortable. In a resort of this caliber I would expect the thermostats to be set at a level to be comfortable to diners, not the staff members who are moving around a lot more. Oddly, we ate at 3 different restaurants while at the Broadmoor and this was the only one that was uncomfortably chilly and the food a little disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad at all, but I expected better for the price. It did meet our needs or being a place where kids can be kids as the bowling is constant and pretty loud in the background.

Make reservations before you arrive if you want to get in. This place is always busy. The whole family had a lot of fun.

Finally found a restaurant that had exceptional service from the initial point or entry. Play is a restaurant adjoined to the BroadMore bowling alley. Really nice atmosphere and a menu that has a little something for everyone (Hot dogs to Sushi). I had a nice salmon salad an a roll for lunch. it was a bit pricey for two people $90 but it was an enjoyable experience.

Tip, bring a lightweight sweater because it tends to be cold in the room.

Love that the Broadmoor has bowling--and six lanes at that! Very clean and snazzy. Family friendly spot but doesn't appear to be real audience. Doesn't open until noon, whereas this would be good spot to drop in and play before lunch or swimming. Menu has some nice food selections but clearly favors bar drinks. Service less polished than rest if resort. Pricing and hours seem to suggest guests don't come first at this particular venue, money does. Enjoyable but could be better.
