“The Worst”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

unfriendly employees, no parking (and if you can find a space, you have to feed a 2 hour meter which is hardly long enough for a movie), old, old, old facilities. It needs a major renovation! Too bad, because it's a locally owned business :(

“A Classic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2013

Takes you back in time when the theaters were smaller and cozier. A glass of wine with your movie makes for a fun afternoon!

“Great Place to See High Quality Indie Films”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013

I have gone to this venue 6-8 times when I have visited Colorado Springs over the past four years most recently this past Saturday night. It is in the heart of downtown 100 yards from my favorite hotel(The Mining Exchange).
This theater is an ideal choice for a person who is interested in seeing high quality independent films on a big screen that seldom make it to your local cineplex and might only be otherwise available for you to see when they are out on DVD.
They have three screens and there is a bar where one can get alcoholic beverages if you are so inclined(I can't comment on the selections available because I haven't had anything to eat or drink on my multiple visits).
I have always been impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff have been on each of my visits.
They have had daily multiple showings of each of the three films during the afternoon and early evening each time I have been there.
Colorado Springs is lucky to have this valuable resource available in its ever improving downtown.

“Old,and snmall”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

Kimball's is an older theater in downtown Colorado Springs. It does show 1st rate movies, but the area it's self seems crowded, especially in the upstairs theatre. Prices are the same as larger venues, seating is old as well, and while it is more intimate, I miss the larger, more comfortable chairs. The day we were there, the drinking fountains so the cashier gave us a complimentary glass of water! Parking is not nice, either a meter or across the street which is free with a secret code. Overall, this is a more artsy type place,,, good if you want lesser crowds.

“They have a bar!”

Bar in the Theatre so you can drink your wine, and watch the flick! Good selection but minimal. Heart of downtown, so nice to walk around/ grab a bite before and after.
