The last thing you want to hear when you walk into a restuarant is that the wait staff is stressed.
I was at Senor Manuels the week ending June 28th and heard just that from the Blond Girl behind the counter. I received that statement from her right after I asked why I was asked to wait by the door when there was an abundance of empty tables and many wait staff visble throughout the dining room. She got pissy with me and suggested I see the manager but not before she ran over to the manager and played the drama queen. This is NOT the type behavior I would expect from such a nice looking young woman employed at Senor Manuels.. Apparently amid the words and the arm waving, she told her side of the strory (whatever that was.) I calmly let the manager know that it is not a good idea to have an abundance of empty tables and then ask people to sit in the waiting area instead of seating them. I also suggested that the reason the last two parties (10 people) left was because Blodie got in their face, repeated the words "The Waiters are stressed" and got no explaination as to why the level of stress was up when there were so many empty tables.
