“Try the antipasto salad”
Reviewed August 28, 2011

A packed neighborhood restaurant. The Folks never stopped coming through the door.
The antipasto salad was enough for at least two meals and very good ingredients as well.

“why did they change their pizza after 50 years?”
Reviewed October 16, 2010

i have been a loyal fan for 51 years. last week i ordered my usual sausage pizza with my brother. What a disapointment... it was swimming in a tart chili tasting tomato sauce. The flavor of the great sausage and cheese was lost. We ate half of the pizza and left. We did tell the waiter who argued that the pizza was the same as it had always been. I am going to go once more and tell them to go easy on the tomato sauce. I hope they go back to the 50 year old prize winning pizza.

“all that and more”
Reviewed July 5, 2010

we read other reviews about this place before we tried it and it was everything they said it was...and more! they all said to arrive early and we're glad we did, because as soon as the doors opened, it filled up quickly. and for good reason! the food was delicious, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was welcoming. it seemed like the waiter knew everyone who walked in the door! we will definitely go back and we would recommend this restaurant to anyone else. and......GET THERE EARLY!!!!

“Congratulations on 50 years!”
Reviewed December 1, 2009

Great little restaurant to return to again and again, as many have for 50 years. We love the meat sauce and meatballs, and seldom stray from the spaghetti, ravioli or pizza. The salad is an odd combination of plain iceberg, italian dressing and blue cheese crumbles, but it's tasty! Some are disappointed that they don't serve garlic bread with the meals, but we love the crusty bread (from a local baker) and butter. It's definitely a little neighborhood "mom and Pop" type place (though in this case it's mom's and daughters), service and atmosphere are basic, the food is delicious. and the prices are reasonable. Great for take out as well.
