Billy's is a "hole in the wall" on the West Side of Colorado Springs. Don't let the "ambiance" fool you. The decor is nothing to crow about, but some nice Chicago memorabilia. The tables are covered with vinyl tablecloths and some of the chairs are rickety. If you love Olive Garden, maybe this isn't the place for you.
All that aside, the food is great. The sausage is delicious, and they have bread there to make a sausage sandwich, with real giardiniera- absolutley wonderful. Salad is good, but who cares about salad when you can have pasta, pizza, sausage, italian beef, chocolate cake and delicious bread?
We went on a Friday night. The server was a doll, friendly and helpful. The owner, Billy, is right there on site and helped a couple who had some sort of issue. He really truly cares that you have a good experience. I am sad to see these bad reviews. I've never had bad service there, and I have always enjoyed the food.
