“Real authentic home made Caribbean”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2013 via mobile

A very unique food experience. Everything is made from scratch. The grouper is mild and tender. The barracuda has a stronger fish taste and the texture of shark. Great side dishes. Make sure to ask for a description of the food so you are not surprised by these authentic favors. I look forward to going back to try the other menu items.

“Down home Caribbean”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

Small no-frills but GREAT food - order at the counter, sit down at one of a dozen or so tables with a good supply of paper towels. Everything is made from scratch and tastes it! Dinners include 2 sides and a drink, lunches 1 side and a drink. Conch fritters and plantains were a big hit with our crowd - who were also really liking the collard greens (which are GENEROUSLY mixed with shredded turkey). Island Mac n Cheese is not some attempt at kiddie food but a dense baked macaroni casserole made with actual cheese. The goat curry was bone-free, jerk chicken breast is the whole breast - bones and all. For dessert try the guava duff which is a rolled up bread layer with sweetened guava filling - it's served hot. The cheesecake is also awesome - dense and rich. We'll be back!

“Try the Barracuda!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013 via mobile

The menu is very unique. Who thought you could get (delicious) barracuda in the middle of Colorado. The BBQ is also delicious. Conch shells and guava duff are specially recommended!

“Jerk Chicken Heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2012

This restaurant is a hidden gem with great food! I especially enjoyed the caribbean-style jerk chicken (barbeque) with peas'n'rice. This brings back strong memories of my Bahamian travels. The cuisine is varied and tasty - be sure to try the conch fritters and other seafood entrees. The staff is friendly and eager to please.
