“Good burgers”

Burgers are great, some of the best in town. Was happy to hear when they came to town, good burgers at a decent value.

“Really Good Burgers & Fries”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

If you need a burger fix...skip the standard fast food joints and try a Freddy's! They cook them to order so give them a few minutes because it is not "instant food". I had the California style double burger which has all the trimmings and it was really good and slightly sloppy.

My other half and I shared a Chile/Cheese fries and it was a huge portion as are the fries in a combination order! They use "shoestring" cut fries and cook them to order also. Try the Freddy's sauce for your fries. It's a very tasty sauce for dipping.

The portions were large so we didn't have room for any Custard on this first visit. They have a large Custard dessert selection and it was tempting, but no room after the great burgers and fries!

Finally...the price was fair and a good value especially compared to what you pay at the standard fast food burger restaurants! Try it and see what you think?

“Go to Freddy's, pass up McD's”

Awesome shoe string fries with their own style of sauce. Steakburgers taste delicious. Custard is a must. I always visit and eat a Freddy's when I am on business.

“Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

Freddy’s first opened in the 1950’s with their main focus to bring great quality into their food. Freddy’s believes in cooking your food when you ask for it and never before. The great experience at Freddy’s begins even before you walk into Freddy’s Burger House. You get excited the moment you pull into the parking lot. As you get out of your car and you smell the famous burgers being grilled your mouth begins to water. Plus who doesn't get excited when you go to a place that is old fashion? At Freddy’s they still have the 1950’s style and feel without looking old or run down. They also still practice their standards of fresh food and cooked to order meals. But the real excitement begins when you walk through the front doors.
When you walk into Freddy’s the first thing you notice is how large and spacious the place is. There is a lot of seating but you’re not sitting on top of the people next to you. The next thing you notice is the red 19450’s décor. You can really tell that the place is original and that they make an effort to keep the energy there from the very first opening of Freddy’s. As you walk to the ordering line you are greeted by many of the workers they are all friendly and happy. They are all smiling and that is always something that is nice to see. They make sure you are their focus and feel like you are their first priority. The employees take your order quickly and accurately and the cooks immediately start working on your food while you move down the line to get drinks and condiments for yourself. Even though you are responsible for drinks and condiments the employees manage to keep the place very clean. Napkins, lids, straws, and small paper cups for ketchup are in the right spot and are organized neatly. The floors are swept and obviously kept clean and tables are always wiped off. After you have gotten your drinks you go to find your seat and shortly after you sit your number for your order is called out over the intercom system. The environment is a great place to bring family and friends to have a great time. The employees stop by every now and then to make sure you are doing ok. This was a little unexpected the first time seeing as it is more of a ‘fast food’ place than a real restaurant.
Freddy’s main attraction would be the steak burgers. They are mouthwatering and made to order. They are made from fresh quality lean beef. The patties are thin on the edge to add a little crunch and thick and juicy in the middle. The buns are buttered and then grilled to give the perfect crunch and softness to the burger. They have many options for burger such as the single patty or a double patty burger, they also have the classic bacon burger that many people love so much and of course much more. Other than just the steakburger’s their French fries are to die for. They are thin cut and perfectly fried. They are even better with the special fry sauce that Freddy’s has created.
Once you enjoy your burger and fries you have to go back for dessert. Freddy’s has perfect frozen custard that is smooth and creamy. They have plain vanilla and chocolate custard as well. There are many different flavor and topping options my favorite being Dirt n’ Worms. The vanilla custard with Oreo's and gummy worms topped with whip cream and a cherry is the perfect sweet after all the salty fires. However, other options like the Hawaiian Delight with pineapple, strawberry, coconut, and macadamia nuts topped with whip cream and a cherry hit the spot as well.
Freddy’s has all you could want from a burger joint that’s better than any Wendy’s or Good Times burger you will ever have. And the price stands for just that. Although Freddy’s is considered a little pricier than most “fast food” burgers the taste makes it all worth the while. You are paying for great quality and that’s something you just can’t pass up.
Freddy’s has the quality that everyone wants and the friendly service that everyone expects. You can go and enjoy the freshest burger and fries in town and even have some delicious frozen custard while you’re at it. No need to make a second stop at Yogurtland Freddy’s beats that place. So next time you are craving a burger stop of at Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. You might have to spend a few more bucks but it will always be worth it here.

“Quality fast food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

This is fast food but it is GOOD fast food. We ate lunch there and it wasn't overcrowded, the staff was polite and...THEY HAVE FRY SAUCE! The servings are larger than normal fast food, tasted fresh and is less expensive than normal fast food. I love the decor with all the old pictures. Will definitely go again!
