Description: The Golden Bee is famous for freshly prepared pub food, and yards of the finest ales from an extensive collection of English and Irish drafts. Enjoy a hearty selection of snacks, appetizers and the true English tradition of fish and chips, a Reuben sandwich, or a selection of pot pies as lively piano tunes fill the 19th century English Pub. Guests are encouraged to participate in the cheerful atmosphere by joining the nightly Ragtime piano beginning at 7:30 PM and the sing along beginning at 9:30 PM nightly, and proudly wearing their own "Bee's" that change seasonally. Attire: Bermuda length shorts, dressy denim and collared shirts are required. Seasonal sport coat or blazer suggested. Please no athletic wear, sport wear, shorts, pool attire or gentlemen's hats.

Ate there on a Tuesday for dinner. We called for reservations and it's all pretty upscale but they don't care if you don't dress up during the summer. We sat upstairs and walked down to hear the piano player for a while. They through small bee patches on you and the grandson liked that.
I had the Brautwurst and it was excellent! The others had various salads and they reported that they were quite good. The fish and chips were also tasty.
We had a good time. A chance to eat at the Broadmoor without breaking the budget.

We found the atmosphere and cuisine at the Golden Bee average at best and would recommend other restaurants at The Broadmoor

Although the food here was very good, the manager was unhelpful in trying to seat us at a table where we could actually view the piano show. My whole family was staying at The Broadmoor in celebration of my 60th birthday and I thought my granchildren would get a kick out of watching the piano player after supper. We were, however, seated directly behing a large column. As a result, we had to leave our table and stand with the kids for the show after our meal.

Pub food is not expected to be gourmet cuisine, but our apps, mains and deserts were horrible! Soggy, limp, cold, flavorless. This iconic spot was a big disappointment! Bar was cheerful and piano fun. Go for drinks and skip the food!

We sat down for lunch and we were immediately brought into the "hive" when our server accurately flung a bee sticker at our lapels. Fun start to lunch and Kyle took great care of use throughout. Everyone's food looked great. The fresh oysters were great and came with great sauces. The Golden Bee is one of those places you just have to try on your way to Colorado Springs activities like the Broadmoor, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls...you won't be disappointed.
