Description: The Golden Bee is famous for freshly prepared pub food, and yards of the finest ales from an extensive collection of English and Irish drafts. Enjoy a hearty selection of snacks, appetizers and the true English tradition of fish and chips, a Reuben sandwich, or a selection of pot pies as lively piano tunes fill the 19th century English Pub. Guests are encouraged to participate in the cheerful atmosphere by joining the nightly Ragtime piano beginning at 7:30 PM and the sing along beginning at 9:30 PM nightly, and proudly wearing their own "Bee's" that change seasonally. Attire: Bermuda length shorts, dressy denim and collared shirts are required. Seasonal sport coat or blazer suggested. Please no athletic wear, sport wear, shorts, pool attire or gentlemen's hats.

“Fun night”

Spent a fun night with several friends...sing a long to oldies but goodies...they provide song books just in case you can't remember the words!

“Expanded but still great place”
Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

Every time we come to visit friends in COS we have to eat here by the Broadmoor Hotel. It is an Englishh Pub with an authentic old wooden bar imported from Jolly Old. The food is outstanding English Pub fare served with a flair accompanied by a cold beer. I had the usual Shepards pie ( outstanding) all sandwiches are equally fine. You will never have a bad meal nor will you leave hungry. A sure thing in an uncertain world.

“Average Food”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

I had heard a lot about The Golden Bee before I arrived at The Broadmoor. It is a nice pub, with beautiful woodwork, but the food and drink were relatively ordinary. In all, it was not as exciting as I thought it was going to be.

“disappointing!!!”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

Really disappoints! The food was terrible! I ordered the ruben hoping it would be reminicient of The Tavern's ruben sandwich, it wasn't. Marble Rye was dry, the corned beef was cooked to the point of jerky. I resorted to a fork and knife because it was so difficult to chew. The "potato salad", was potato wedges with mayo- mustard dressing, no salt or pepper. There was no salt and pepper on the table to season tasteless food. My iced tea had no ice. Ordered the Eton Mess for dessert; whipping cream, 4 pieces of strawberries, a few blueberries and 4 quarter size pieces of cracker thin merguine, it was a mess. Will not go back.

“Great atmosphere, OK food.”
Reviewed June 25, 2013 via mobile

I took my family here. I loved showing them the hotel and the Bee is wonderful to look at. The fish and chips were not very remarkable or even English-inspired. That said other food items were nice such as the ham pretzel roll.
