Another great hidden gem. Beautiful falls and really great hikes here. Not too many people, and great panoramic views at the top of the hike.

Very nice hike, and it's free. Who charges to go see nature? Really? North Cheyenne Canyon is a very nice hike. You can drive to the Helen Hunt Falls then choose to hike up to Silver Falls about a half a mile to 3/4 mile. View is amazing. We then continued on to drive on the lower gold camp road, a very nice drive if you don't mind a little gravel, maybe a few miles worth or so. Also had amazing views.

This is a beautiful drive to a great hike. It took an hour to get to the falls and back. 4 kids ages 4-16 had a wonderful experience on this picturesque trail. I definitely recommend this beautiful place!
We also discovered the Falls were not named after a famous actress.

It was okay... nothing spectacular; but it's summer out here and the water flow is weaker than other times of the year.

Helen Hunt Falls is a great half-day hike. It hasn't been bought by the Broadmoor, yet, either, so there's no charge for admission. For a very pleasant hike near Colorado Springs, go to Helen Hunt Falls!
