The problem may be that they have moved the spa from the Black Forest into town. I had read the previous reviews and was expecting something nice. I have no complaints about the staff, they were great. But the facility was incredibly low rent. I had read the instructions on the web and brought my own bottle of water. I decided to skip using the spa while I was there, since the website said I would have to bring my own towel. I needed to wait for quite a while for my appointment, (I was with a friend and we were having the same treatment) so I had brought a book, but the only place they had for me to sit and wait was a backless bench in a hallway. I had signed up for the Ultimate Body Renewal ($135). This meant that they covered my body in mud of some kind, then put me under a coffin-like fabric tent and filled it with steam. The tent kept falling down on my face. It was awful. I'm not claustrophobic, but even I had to cry "uncle" after a while and ask the tech to move the tent so that my head was out. That meant that the edge of the tent was resting across my throat...very uncomfortable. The crowning moment was when the treatment was over. The tech wiped off as much mud as she could and then told me I needed to go straight home and take a shower, because they had no shower facilities!! By the time I got home, the remaining mud had dried to the consistency of concrete. It took a stiff brush over my whole body to get it off. It was a thoroughly miserable experience.
