Only got to stay here 1 night but this is a wonderful magical place! The grounds are manicured and park like with deer and wild turkeys in abundance. Very relaxing and very quiet Not surprised that this is a retreat center as it is so peaceful. 1 mile from the Garden of the Gods. Highly recommend a visit here.

SO MUCH TO SEE HERE, the BEAUTY is Astounding.......we saw herds of BIGHORN SHEET, loads of Turkeys and a gorgeous Redshoulder HAWK, if you get up and take a walk before breakfast you can see MORE than if you sleep in....

I decided to splurge by staying the night here. After all, how often do you get to stay the night and have tea in a castle? I'm so glad I did. This is a unique experience. The castle is lovely, the people are friendly, and you can catch herds of goats, dear and turkeys all over the grounds, along with gorgeous views from the hiking trails. One of the employees, Dace, even gave me a golf cart ride to track one of the herds so I could take photos. Treat yourself. This place is worth it.

This is a lovely setting with amazing architecture and beautiful grounds but there isn't much to "do" as a drop in visitor.

Enjoyed the fall weekday tea service. It's a beautiful atmosphere, lovely table setting and the service is excellent. Over all I really enjoyed everything about it. The finger foods did have good flavor however, were a hit and miss for us. Some of the savory items were dry, and not in a "suppose to be dry" kind of way. We loved the tea selections we chose. The server we had was really good at her job and was very attentive. It was slow paced and relaxing. We got lucky and the big horned sheep were on the lawn across from the tea room while we were there. Glad we took the time to experience the high tea at the castle.
