This is not as big as the Denver Zoo but you get to feed the giraffes!!! This is awesome! Even if you dont feed them you can stand there and watch other people and touch them! Amazing especially for kids!

This is a must do when visiting CO Springs!!! Its a very clean zoo, the animals have great areas to roam around in and the Giraffes are a hit!!! You must feed them for the experience (it costs $2 but well worth the money)...personally feeding the Giraffes was the highlight of my trip. :) We will definitely be returning whenever visiting this area again.

Would you like to feed a giraffe? Then go. The setting on the side of a mountain is also beautiful for a zoo. This is a good medium sized zoo. There are still a few old style exhibits, but they have mostly been replaced with more modern animal friendly enclosures. If you are a local it is a must. If you are a visitor and like seeing the animals or the idea of feeding a giraffe appeals to you, then go. It is not one of the best in the world (like San Diego), but it is very good and well worth the time. Plan a half day.

We took two of our grandchildren to the zoo and everyone had a good time. We loved the Skyride that is similar to a ski lift and gives one a ride up over the zoo; one can ride it as many times as one wishes. The kids liked the merry go round and also feeding lettuce to the giraffes. The other animal exhibits are also very good. Prepare to make a day of it as there is so much to see.
