You can hand feed the giraffes for $2, watch an elephant romp in his pond, witness the mountain lions being fed and trained, and so much more!! The gorillas and monkeys were active too, kissing the window and showing off! We were asked to leave because we lost track of time. Wonderful experience.

We have never experienced a zoo like this before. Great hands on activities! It is not only a great zoo for children but adults too. There are quite a few hills to climb so I suggest strollers for the little ones.

What a Great Zoo it's beautiful, worth the trip, and the entrance fee. They offer entrance discounts, example seniors and military.
Don't forget to feed the giraffes they put their heads on your shoulder while nibbling on the lettuce so cool.
Enjoy.

This is by far the best zoo I have ever been to! I have been going here since I was little and the renovations they continue to do only make it better! I love how you can get really close to the animals!

You will get some exercise walking this zoo. Enjoyable for sure, the giraffe area is fun for kids. they do a great job of interaction with the animals. The primate area is however a bit depressing as they do not seem to be happy but that is understandable as I would not be overly happy being caged in.
