The service was great. The location of the Super 8 is not best area. Toilets need to have more pressure.

We stayed at Super 8 because nothing else was available. We traveled to CS for our granddaughter's high school graduation which correlates to the graduation for a lot of schools as well as the same time period for AF Academy graduation. We were not too concerned, had a good idea what the place would be like. Normally we stay at a nicer place in CS.

The toilet does not flush well. When I inquired if all their toilets were slow to flush the response was in the affirmative. We had to beg for toilet paper...it seems to be rationed. We were told to keep the AC turned off unless we were in the room and even if in the room to open the windows instead. We don't do that, we both have allergies. However, the lobby area kept the AC off and had the doors and windows open. The carpet definitely felt dirty, but I watched the cleaning personnel working in the rooms on our floor that were vacated and I know they were cleaning the rooms quite well.

One main complaint I have is that the bathroom/sink facilities are extremely visible from the door. So we had to take great pains not to be seen if/when the door was opening/closing.

Pillows were TERRIBLE!!! Like rocks! I finally stuffed clothes into a soft bag and use it instead. And the pillows are those little half size pillow (like sofa pillows) that are horrible for sleeping. And the bed comforter felt extremely dirty.

The breakfast is ok for a place like this...cereal, milk, prepackaged cinnamon rolls, coffee, toast. However one morning a gentleman came and took ALL the cinnamon rolls. When my husband asked him if he planned to eat all of them he responded that he would sometime during the day! When hubby inquired at the desk if any more could be put out he was told that only x number were put out per day, so no. Again, rationing.

The elevator is creaky and scary. In fact, on one occasion it was balking so badly that we got off of it and took the stairs. That is tough for us because I am handicapped...I don't walk well. But it was less scary.

We will not stay at this place again. Just too substandard in our view. We prefer other hotels.

Room Tip: We had a non-smoking king with a refrigerator and microwave. Lots of space in the room to spread ou...

We stayed here overnight. The room was clean, the hostess was polite, the waffels were great. Not a real hot breakfast to say, but for the price of the room it was great. Bed was comfortable, I have a bad back. With the coupon from super 8 to Dennys (nextdoor) 20% off meal ,, what a deal . Will stay here again and again for that price and accomodations.

This Super 8 is clean, quiet and very conveniently located to the Interstate, shopping, and several good restaurants. The desk clerk very kindly changed my reservation from a smoking room to a non-smoking room. My mistake! I opted to visit Cracker Barrel next door for breakfast, but did notice their breakfast area was equipped with my favorite malted waffle baker. Yum!

I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Whoops! No pool I shouldn't have "rated it". No fitness center that i saw -- but I don...
