We had a beautiful corner room with 2 windows. One window looked downtown, the other towards the mountains. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of space and the bathroom was luxury. Huge tub, large 2 person shower plenty of vanity space and very well lit for putting on make-up, etc. The room was very quiet. We had no problems getting rest at night. We did valet our truck, which is worth it in my opinion, and never waited long for it to be brought up. We tried room service one morning (as with any room service it's too costly to do every morning) and it was very good. It was delivered at the time we asked, hot and right to order. There is a French bakery and an Einstein Bros. within walking distance from the hotel so you can grab coffee and food from there if you like.
The location is wonderful....we walked to dinner every night and there was a 7-11 within walking distance which was handy.
We were able to stay here and take in all Colorado Springs had to offer plus drive to Cripple Creek one day (easy drive...about an hour) and drove to Canon City one day (easy drive, not quite an hour). The location is great.
Staff was friendly and helpful and made great recommendations (and kept us from going somewhere we wouldn't have enjoyed).
The only negative is one day during our multi-day stay they forgot to make up the room. When we left for dinner we mentioned that at the desk and by the time we returned from dinner, it was corrected.
I highly recommend staying here if in Colorado Springs. I know we will stay here the next time we come to visit.
